What good is life if you don't have freedom?

Maco, ALL the guns in GhR are horribly unrealistic and most of them are unbalanced too. As far as I'm concerned they're all laser guns. This weapon is no more or less realistic than any of them, it serves a useful function and most people don't seem to have a problem with it.
It's also far more balanced than the OICW/GL, the grenades the OICW fires in GhR are far far to powerful. GhR makes them regular hand grenades that explode on contact. The OICW fires 40mm grenade rounds that explode either on contact or above the target with a much smaller explosion than a standard hand grenade.
And finally, it's a game, it's not real life.

EH Alaric! The oicw fires 20mm rounds from its GL and they are not equal to hand grenades, not quite anyways.

I can see the problem with the tac nuke, but if you fear it will be used in a CB you can ask the other clan to agree on not using the nuke. Just get a screenshot when they agree. If they dont, then dont cb. Could be as simple as that.

Hmm...I've changed my mind. I kinda like the tac-nuke now. It is acually a really useful weapon and not just a spamming tool. It's also fun to play "Tac-Nukes only"...hehe

Oh My God.. . I really didnt have an opinion or an clue of this gun and what it does, until recently, so heres goes my attempt of changing the mind of the open minded and liberal admins.. .
This gun should never have been included in the mappack. I mean, all its for is to give the other team a chance to wipe out the entire opposing team with one shot on a wide open map.. . Add domination to this which tells you where the other team spawns, and you have a game that could end in 10 secs.. . wheres the team work in that? Wheres the skill in that?
Why don't we just add a gun called. .. "thunder of god" that eliminates the entire opposing team with a click of the mouse, so cb's would be about who has the fastest finger and connection. I know sarcasm won't get me far but this "gun" its just stupid and has no place in a tactical shooter. I'm sure you're intentions were good and you just wanted to add some exitment to the game, but it failed, big time.
In the past admins have been very reluctant making changes to the mappacks and anyone who questioned them just got a answer like "good teams adjust" When the mappacks were released with 3rd party, buggy, unfair maps i bit my toungue and hoped no one would pick them in cb's, but this "gun" just takes more from the gameplay than it adds.
I hope the admins can admit they were wrong, if it indeed is the case here.
To give you an idea of my fear.. think Red Square, Domination.. . (not that its the only map that it can be used to eliminate the entire opposing team under 10 secs, but i think its the one map that best demonstrates the tac-nuke's usage)

*speaking as a player here, not as admin*
nice input Joka
i think next map packs/changes guns should be relased b4 a season as "a betatest" and make players vote if they like or not or want to adjust/balance it

The oicw/GL (aka nOOb nader) has been used in the same way. Spam nading the spawn points at the beginning of rounds to try and catch the other team off guard. That is very easy tactic to use in a 4v4 or bigger (i.e. redsquare). So the GL should be banned also? I think not. I addition the nade "tricks" on Training. (tossing them onto roofs and they blow up in dark room below) Lets get rid of nades. NOT! Lets face it the game is full of bugs and cheats (glitches). The world will not end if you loose a cb or get blown up by a nuke. I hate when clans use these types of tactics in cb's or even regular games. Reguardless spam nading/nuking does take some kind of skill to hit the spawn areas. The nuke takes less, because of its blast radius, but still requires some. Let us play the game for what it is, "A GAME". Modders are only trying to make the game more interresting and trying to level the playing field some by forcing clans to change tactics from season to season.

p.s. The ban sux, but its a great way to get caught up on your real life work!

It is beyond me why this discussion is still going on when the solution has been posted and is in the process of happening... Why complain that you are out of milk when the milk truck is driving to your house?
