How to make RS's next season more interesting...

Well, it appears that there wasn't much enthusiasm in this season's rogue spear ladder, so I am making this thread for all ideas on how to make next season more interesting. Post any ideas, questions, comments, or otherwise.

Some of my ideas:

What if you could have the option of bs cb's.
For example: 10 games. Team 1 plays 5 games however they want, such as pistols only, c4 wars, snipers on maze, normal snipers, skorps, uzis, etc.
Then team two picks their game style.

I believe that this will increase the variety of games, and will cause it to be more interesting. Maybe one clan thinks that they suck against another clan, but that they can beat anyone in pistols only.


Anyway, this was my idea, but lets keep them coming.

Would be fun, but the onslaught of 2v2 playing gold on depot still sucks...

I doubt the RS ladder will be very competetive simply because it's getting old and boring. Sure it's fun to pop in a few games, get some kills or maybe even play some bs style for a bit. But to go through the hoops of  dealing with all the crappola just isn't as fun as it used to be. R.I.P RS

In my opinion, ban maps...you heard me, ban maps.
Here are some maps that keep things fresh:

Hotzone
Amazon
That Opera House (I forget what its called, you know it!)
CSL (its still fun, so come off it!)
Double Story Killhouse (if you ban nades)
But is there not an SB 2!!!!!...which i recall is fun  

Maps that have some value:
Chalet (good games, anything happens)
The Met (nice big sexy map!)
The Esate (mmmm cheese burgers in paradise..sorry)

Maps that have made the game boring:
Depot (its either rush, trench, or camp)
SB 1 (its a great map, but its a nade fest or a pdw war, though i enjoy sb1 a lot. Good Camping spots )

Heres one...BAN THE PDW AND ALL TIGHT RETICULE WEAPONS!

I used to use the PDW, and how can you not, its a great gun.  But anyone can kill with it..just fire off 30 shotss in arrow and your ret. is still tight, bullets still hitting target.
I switched to the M4 carbine a week ago and fell in love with it, you have to wait longer for the ret. to come together when you zoom in and you have to fire in bursts, but it makes the game better.
You all know how not having a tight reticule makes shooting a little more challenging..just a bit

I got nothin else but also lighten up, we all get mad playing RS!  But dont go so far as to make websites bashing clans and accusing others of BS and cheating just cause you lost. If you really think they cheated then report it. But dont make a dumbass excuse for you being out shot or out smarted.

Wow Jackal, spoken like a true champ!

A fun RS ladder, with subdivisions, would be an epic cool ladder! (of course, many would have to join and actually play! )

There would be different categories, as submitted by various RS players, with different people running each category!  Man, that would be awesome!

You'd have the 1v1, 2v2, Clan(2v2 and bigger), and the UZI only, PDW only, etc. categories!  Once they're submitted, they'll be placed in the appropriate category, and who knows, this might just help built the right hype for RS like we been needing!  Hell, I volunteer to do graphics for some of the categories!  Others can too!  

Let's see how creative we can get for next season!  That's what I'm talking about!

(and yeah, enough BS sites on our clan for owning yah back in the day!  Geez, talk about butt hurt! )

It's not that RS is getting boring or old Kilzo, it's that RS doesn't work in OS X.

Yep, Viper's right. I still play RS occasionally in single-player, but since I got this Airport-like network, I haven't been able to play online in OS9. Even then though, it's a pain to switch into OS9.

first off jackal....If your good, you dont need to fire off 30 rounds to hit some1 just one shot which i could do with any gun except shotgun that had spread


. And now to the point of this topic. To make the rs ladder better. We gotta get people to switch into os 9 more often cuz ever since osx rs has been basically dead. And the way to do that is to make it worth there time. We gota host more ra games. Make the teams more even and not host vs all....(some of u might have experienced that on my host ). We gotta make it so that it's not the same maps where blue wins all the time. cuz thats cheap to gold and if the teams aren't even then people will leave. We gotta get more vets to come back. Like rebel said he is trying to bring rs back. And techo left and hasnt been on in forever so with all the good players gone its not really fun. but i dont no how to get them to play more so any other ideas just blurt them out.


P.S. I'm about weezy from getting nocked around at the beach when trying to ride waves and then them breaking on me so sry foro grammer and fmisspeling cuz i cant realy see whel right now
