- If you visited our website yesterday you may noticed that we offered a Full Screen Night Vision mod. This was a client side modification that allowed you to use NV full screen in multiplayer while the others still had their original NVGs. Simply a client side cheat that gave you an incredible advantage at night maps. Well the reason why I put it online was to make it a legal cheat but when I noticed that it gives the sniper also full screen if zoomed in with NV I removed the files again. All in all my fault that 30 peeps have now the files.
Well I ask you all to remove this mod immediatly(only 30guys downloaded it from here but I am talking to all clans that are using it, and I know some of you do).
This Night Vision modification is cheating, yes CHEATING. It gives you an unfair advantage on night maps. There will be a general amnesty for all clans that used it until yet but from now on the use of such cheats will be punished strictly. Tomorrow I'll upload an updated version of the Battle League rules which instructions how you can control and proove if someone cheats.
I believe in a fair playing Mac community that uses skills and not cheats.

I just uploaded the Just Games week 2 desktop. From now on I'll add weekly, on sunday, a "Just Games" desktop for you. Check them out at our Arts & Screenshots section. I hope you like them ;)
Furthers I have uploaded several Ghost Recon mods. Just head over to our Mac Downloads to play the latest skin, mission and map mods.
Btw the first expansion pack for Raven Shield will probably be named Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword and comes out in July. If you observe the past, the Tom Clancy Mac versions were always released after the first expansion pack for PC. So we can speculate to see Raven Shield in september/october for Mac but at least this year says Mauti.

- 3 new maps and several server side missions or weather conditions have been added.
One highlight is the MYTOAN Sniper map. It gives you the chance to replay the sniper scene from the motion picture Full Metal Jacket. Also check out Death Angel's and Dr. No's server side missions or weather conditional changes. Didn't you ever want to play Embassy on a rainy day with moody fog!?

- Fantastic news for all WWII Fans. War of Infamy 2.1 is out for Mac(Mac OSX Only). Big thanks to Chirality for the work on the MAC launcher. I'll mirror the file over the weekend but you can also download it from the WOI website. Have fun!

the Island Thunder Mac patch will probably go online again on tuesday 7:00pm CET. I'll only shut down the full Mac Edition offer because Ubisoft doesn't have any control if we really sent it only to purchasers of the PC version. About the IT Mac patch I could argue that is only a legal modification for Island Thunder. As a consequence it seems that you can get it tomorrow again from *DAMN R6. No promises but chances aren't that bad.
Many of you requested a Black Hawk Down mod version for Ghost Recon, still one of the best mods ever made, but unfortunaly I have to disappoint you:

- Today I received a letter from Ubisoft Montreal claiming that I violate their copyrights with the IT patch and the IT Mac Edition. Furthers Ubisoft suffered and is suffering damage due our IT conversion patch. Both is in my opinion unjustified because it is required that you own the PC version to use our patch or Mac Edition offer. All user that already have sent their Mac Edition order contact me via email please.
One justified reason to tell me to remove all IT Mac conversion patches,... would be if a Mac company bought the IT Mac conversion rights. But currently it seems that "a Mac port wouldn't be profitable but on the other hand I am stealing money from Ubisoft with offering a patch that makes the PC version playable on a Mac and that by the way increases their PC sales." SAD BUT TRUE!!!
I already phoned with Stephanie Maillot, Legal Department Ubisoft Entertainment in Montreal, and have contact with her via email right now. As a consequence and to show good will I temporary took the IT Mac patch and IT Mac Edition offline but at least the patch will go online again after Ubisoft takes a more detailed look at it and realizes that I don't hurt any copyrights.
