That's not even remotely funny, Stripes.

i don't think it was intended to be funny... but it was indeed an unnecessary and uncool comment, although yeah... Bush sucks. Wink

"As you know, we don't have relationships with Iran. I mean, that's — ever since the late '70s, we have no contacts with them, and we've totally sanctioned them. In other words, there's no sanctions — you can't — we're out of sanctions." —George W. Bush, Annandale, Va, Aug. 9, 2004

Yeah i know what u mean stripes, there are a lot of people who have no love lost for the guy, unfortunately i really don't belive it would make any difference if he got taken out right now, other than turn the guy into a martyr in the eyes of millions of Americans.

And unfortunately i hate to say it, but lets face if if Bush wasn't here, the guys with the real power that feed him his speeches and tell him what to think and say and do would find another stupid monkey to take his place.

These heads of state and politician guys arn't the really powerful ones who make the decisions - (after-all most certainly in bush's case he hasn't got the intelligence to do it even if he tried). The guys im really scared about are the advisors and the guys by his side feeding him what to do and say... The unelected 'aids' the assistants and the advisors, the industry, the guys we don't elect, don't see or hear, the guys that pull the strings.

Sure no problem.

Evil though i dunno, the religious connotations i don't like. Somehow makes it feel like calling someone good or evil is almost excusing them for their actions, almost like there is another factor separate from them that has lead them to behaving the way they do.

In bush's case i think he is ignorant and short sighted and simply stupid, unable to grasp large concepts and to understand what his short term actions might have in the long term - so while im sure he believes his 'war on terrorism' is making america safer, i currently believe that the actions post 9/11 including the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq (im talking specificly not the ideology behind them or the regime toppling actions, but the actial physical actions or lack of in terms of the care and attention and respect towards those civilians in those countries) have both done far more damage than anything else. Rather than gaining respect for the US, his presidency and issues such as Guantanamo bay have done quite the opposite.

Um what am i saying, erm, i hate the guy as much as you, or rather i hate the fact the world is in the state it is and that people can believe that the mentality towards the world that bush and his party has is the answer.  ... But i don't believe killing these guys is going to do any good. Just as killing insurgents in Iraq isn't going to solve the problem, because for every president or insurgent you take out, there will be one waiting in the sidelines to take his place, until the way people think and behave changes.

This is one of those rare instances in which I don't respect the other sides opinions... in my mind they're just as dumb as the man himself.  You couldn't torture me into understaning why anybody would vote for this idiot we call our president.  This will amaze me until the day I die.

And Joka, thanks for a good laugh lol Bushims always seem to make a bad day good

It's not the fact that you hate him, it's that you advocated him being assasinated that bothers me.  I have my opinions, you have your opinions.  I don't have a problem with that.  However, here's one little freedom we DO NOT have in this country:

You can not say you want the President dead, you wish someone would kill him, you want to kill him, etc.  Saying those things in this country can get you thrown in jail, even if you are just kidding.  The Secret Service takes things like that very seriously, as it is their job to protect the President.  Also, going around saying things like that on the internet isn't very smart either, even if you live in another country.  Know why?  Ask the CIA, they'll fill you in.  The CIA, FBI, and the Dept of Homeland Security, along with the Secret Service, regularly filter everything that is accessed on the internet from inside this country.  They then track down any suspicious activity that originates from other countries.  They then put you on their little list of people that "could possibly" be an enemy of the United States and keep track of you.  Sounds pretty far-fetched, but that's how it's done.  Also, along with information being exchanged on the internet, the U.S. Government monitors every phone call, e-mail, text message, and broadcast that is exchanged between people inside the United States with people outside of the United States.  This filtering system looks for key words and then records the information for further review.

Just for your information.

yeah, lol... every non-american on the flight i was on to Florida had to fill out such a piece of paper with name, adress etc and some boxes with questions next to them... like (might be grammatically wrong, but the content is right) "are you planning to join a terroristic organization?", "are you intending to do criminal activities?" and such... hahaha. as if somebody who wants to get into the country would check one of these boxes. lol
