Cool, now I just have to wait for my friend to dl it, burn it to a DVD, borrow his DVD burner and then hook it up to my machine and install...   Angry

I just hope R6 Lockdown is gonna kick ass like R5 and RS did.

TRC from GR.net offered to send it to me. My bud's on it though so I should have it by tomorrow or whenever I feel like picking it up. Just hate having to go to these lengths for big files.

Oh and what are the new weapons anyway? All I caught was the Jackhammer.

Theres a mp7, the jackhammer, sr25, one assault rifle (forget the name, looks like a beretta ar70 kinda, or whatever it is), and a um 100. I think thats all of them. The maps are enormous and play very well.
Cobra and I had good fun last night.

You know, Im aware that RVS has issues, although they were all small to me. The biggest frustration with the game for cobra, whisper, and myself in the past was joining together to play. I will admit we had issues. We worked them out and played for months almost every night and had a blast.
Cobra and I joined forces last night and played for a few hours and had a blast.

Yet you stop by the official RVS Community, and the members are bashing, whinning, and complaining as usual. Makes me sick. I would love the opportunity to mod this game but if it was for that community, I would have to pass. Just ranting this morning....

The RvS community in general seems to be much more immature compared to the GR one. It's so unlike what the R6 and RS/UO community used to be. I wouldn't worry though, RSE is developing Lockdown and should hopefully be a proper sequel to RS.

Hey I understand what your saying but I dont think the game was that bad to begin with. Ive played it countless hours, I cant say that about many of the games I purchase. I just dont see what all the negative stuff is about.
Im just as disappointed about the SDK not being released as anyone, after they said it would be. I guess outside of that, and that is only driven by the desire to mod the game, I think its a good game. I really like the maps for IW, they run great and look great to me.
Who knows what the next generation game in the series will bring, I know Ill be buying it though.

MAC version in the works?

I dug thru the ubi forums, and didnt see anything...I dont supppose any of you guys know when or if this expansion might hit macs? (if at all)

I wouldnt be surprised if we got the total brush-off like usual..but would be nice if I was wrong.
