macobserver reports that apple has just been granted a patent for a tablet mac... ok ok so we all know just because apple patents somthing dosn't mean they are about to rush out with a whole new product. But....  well i guess its a "watch that space" type senario Wink

(pictures are crap, no info on design or anything other than its a tablet, looks basically like the body of a powerbook - or in their words the "HP Compaq Tablet PC"

Pocket nothing. Tablet yes. However I bet the iBook will just get a swing screen with tablet recognition.

well i dunno im sure i could squeeze it into one of my pockets Wink

Dunno the laptops arn't light still - well the 12inch powerbook is pretty light, but personally if i wanted a tablet (hang on what the hell is the real use of a tablet unless you work in a warehouse or somthing and you have to go round checking inventory?) i would want something a good bit lighter, and thinner!

I'm sure Apple can find some use. How about a docking station for it to act as a desktop, and one for it to hub into your TV/stereo?
