Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I will be having surgery to have my tonsils removed on Tuesday, February 1.  Doesn't sound like a big deal, and it's not when you are younger...but it's one of those things that gets very bad the older you get.  I'm 31, and they say at my age it is a very unpleasant experience.  So, I may be drugged up for most of next week and may not be able to grace you all with my presence...which especially sucks cause I'll miss the first week of the FFA Ladder for Season X.  But hey, maybe I'll just get online all drugged up and REALLY piss some people off!  lol[/size]

nah, seriously... i saw a report on tv yesterday that said that the tonsils are the reason of bad breath in 99% of cases. Roll Eyes

No, I never re-entered the military.  I tried to get back in after Sept 11, but they said I had been out too long to get back in (which I think is total BS because they are forcing people who don't want back in to go on active duty).

But, the Air Force doctor who was supposed to have removed my tonsils in 1995 is the same person who is now my civilian doctor and will be performing the surgery for me.  Just 10 years late.

Also, never had a problem with bad breath, but that is interesting, Civic.  My problem is that I get a bad case of strep twice a year and usually end up in the hospital.  So I figure that having a sore throat for 10 days after this surgery is better than having strep twice a year for the rest of my life![/size]
