High Speed Glitch?

is anyone awear of a HIGH SPEED Glitch that can be used in multi player. while playing today my "imposter" was talking of a speed cheat i was like wtf are you talking about he says ill show u. he exits the game come back in and can run (actualy its fast warping) incredably fast. its like he was on a rocket. i saw cybershark doing this once long ago but he said his computer was screwed (lier?) anyway i never had heard/saw this before. it will be a pain in the anus if this gets out... the next blue door gladly only a few people know how to do this (i think  ) well i dont lol but why would i want to know? its cheating lol

no one would answer, at least not on a public board for obvious reasons. but there are "speed cheats" out there for both RS and R6.

All of those who camp, cheat, etc. are really bad and even with their cheats can't get many kills.

Just like anyone who gets banned from GR, then finds another mac and a proxy to get back on is not smart, but rather idiotic for getting banned in the first place.

The only cheat like that I've seen on the Mac side involves tweaking the data files (same as adding more ammo, nades etc).  The only deal there that I'm aware of is that the person that made the cheat has to host and anyone that knows the cheat can take advantage of it on the host.

example.... everyone but the host was running normal in a game of RS.... the host was running twice as fast (not warping either).  How the cheat worked.... don't take a secondary weapon or nades and you run faster.  I remember instructions out there from when I played R6 on the PC (before it came to Mac, so don't think the worse of me) on how to tweak the data files for these things.... and after being in a few games lately (and talking to the host) they still are out there and working on RS.  

As for being able to run the cheat on another's host, I haven't heard how that's done yet, but can only say it's one more reason to call a dumbass a dumbass... If you can't play without cheats, you can't play....

There are lots of cheats for R6.  A while back, when I was in [dts] I saw lots of different kinds of mods and cheat, not just restricted to the host too.  There is a speed cheat out there, for sure.  I am not too sure how much you can actually modify your speed by, but from all that I have seen, the speed cheat is definately really really noticable.  Though...I am not 100% sure if there is a speed cheat out there where the speed is only increased, perhaps, enough to the point where you have an advantage, but it's really hard to spot.  NOT IN A BAD WAY, [dts] was just having some fun and making some mods, I've seen many different kinds of mods.  For example, there is the jumping mod (Get a hold of FF yet Zom@r?), there is the run through everything mod, and a few more, but I forget, it's been a while.  Oh, one mod I'm afriad of too...I've only seen it when it's the host using it, so I really really hope this is not a client side mod...when I first got onto GR, in my first week or so, I played in a game, and the host was using this mod where the recticle did not expand or contract, it stayed tight consistantly...now that is frightening if someone uses that...on the client side.  I am not here to give ideas on how to make cheats, but just to make you newer guys aware.  This is not new stuff, and fuck all you lamers that fucking use it you fucking cocksuckers.
If you are curious about it, please don't try tweaking your files, I'll become very suspicious.... Let's keep the game fun.  Kill with skill, not mods. That is all.

Mauti and Bander know of the speed "glitch", actually, it's not a glitch at all.  I know the trick, it is very easy to do, and the reason there is so few responses to this is because nobody wants it out.  I don't even want it out because it makes the biggest difference when playing against a person who has done the trick and who hasn't.  If your really interested, and have a high-standing position (a.k.a NOT NEWBIE), I'll tell you how it's done under these terms: #1: You don't tell anybody else.  #2: YOU NEVER USE IT!

E-Mail me @ "webdesignerservr@aol.com" if you really wanna know.  And trust me, I hate this trick because it does take all the fun out of the game, and no, you don't have to be a host for it work, except when there are certain conditions going on.  By now your probably figuring something out, you guys are like "How the hell does Peekay know this stuff?"  Peekay is not who you think he is.  Eventually, a few of you will understand.  Don't believe anything of what you hear.  And don't believe 50% of what you see.  And trust me guys, DONT PISS ME OFF, i'm not actually in a good mood lately.  A close friend of mine was just recently diagnosed with cancer.  So if any of you are in a mood to piss me off, I WILL release this litlte "trick" out.  And if any of you remember about me asking Mauti about me needing help with a mod, that mod was going to be made so this trick wouldn't work anymore.  And I know how to make it so it couldn't be used.  And if you don't believe me?  Piss me off, I'll post it here in a heartbeat.  And even if Mauti or Bander take it off, I WILL find ways to spread it around.

Buffy: No I havent seen him. Do you have his email? and that perfict aim thing. was it a mod where everyone had perfict acuracy or just the host/ certain client. because it would be VERY easy to make a gun have perfict acuracy, also very powerfull bullets (i havent seen that yet)

I've seen the perfect accuracy cheat in a RS game... it worked on a specific gun for everyone and it was on the done on the host side.  He also tweeked the same gun with 188 rounds of ammo.

Peekay... I'm sorry for your friend, but don't be a dick and threaten us..... it doesn't matter what's wrong with your friend, it's no excuse to act like a dick.  So just don't do it.

Grifter, it's accualy more then 188 rounds, but because your guns only have approx 30 rounds, it messes up the HostSide stuff. The CIA made a gun once that had 1000 rounds (which we only used for a few weeks, in private CIA games, and we all deleted the files) and the other person (one without the MODed files) had only  188-288 rounds.

Yeah...anyone who may have had the misfortune of playing with me on my extra ammo mod, in which I gave all the guns huge amounts of ammo, had several glitches.  As host, I had 1000 rounds, but everyone else had 233...same thing with grenades.  Also, grenades wouldn't explode.  This is a bizarre R6 bug, but when the weapons are modded to have more/less ammo, grenade explosions are not visible unless you have the same or later version of r6 as the host.  Since I was a relative newcomer to r6, I couldn't properly make that mod.

I play in RS, and i also know that invitory problem, but its intresting... some of the other CIA's that tried it out had a full 1000 rounds, while others did not!

Oooo.. buff, you forgot the "run while crouched" cheat!

Only a few people know about it.. and.. (dangit!) Romeo and Juliet know about it... as well as Glide and I..

It allows you to remain standing, but to everyone else, you are crouched. So you can stand behind a barrel and shoot, except nobody else can see you b/c you are crouched in their view.. its a malicious cheat..

Anyways, Julie, who really cares if you get pissed off? If people cheat, hosts will boot them. Simple. It will just make the community more aware of these cheats (instead of cheats like blue dooring)

then there's the crouch in the water in road cheat.....

if you crouch you can't be seen from above, but by using 3rd person you can see anyone that comes to look for you and shoot them.  They will see muzzle flashes however so you have to get em on the first shot.

that is of course only good for campers.

black, if people were to start using the speed cheat in numerous numbers, then we could just do speed tests on Air which is how the PC world finds out cheaters.

Everyone starts out on one side of Air, then everyone starts running towards the other side - anyone who gets ahead is tked and then they look at the stats to see who they tked and that person is the speed cheater.. its rather simple..

Loud, that ISN'T a cheat, it's called camping. Using 3rd person to your advantage isn't cheating, contrary to public opinion.
