I think the bigger question is, is there going to be a Call of Duty ladder? . . . although this probably would'nt be *DAMN as they are Tom Clancy games only for all I know. (this is good, Tom Clany games pwn  Grin)

hmm, well... CoD is not very active on GameRanger as far as i noticed so far. RvS is much more active on GR but the ladder pretty inactive... i doubt that a CoD ladder would run good and make sense.
the biggest problem most probably is that CoD requires a SN and is unplayable online without... less piracy, but less activity also.

I personally believe CoD is having a slow start just as Age of Mythology did (given, that's not a shooter but in the beginning it was rarely played on GR) It just takes a while for the game to become a bit more popular, obviously not like the Tom Clancy games but it will become bigger than it is as of right now.

     Part of the sluggish GR play of CoD is that it is cross-platform compatible and Macs suck at hosting it. If you want to play game types other than DM or TDM, you have to play on GR until the 1.4 patch comes out (if ever). If, like myself, you don't mind TDM, then there are several excellent 16 to 30-man servers available through the game's internal tracker. I'd rather play a big game with constant action and virtually no lag than a 4-10 man game on GR with 1-3 seconds worth of lag.
