Public release of advanced core command maps. [/b] In the last Ghost Recon Season that the core clan participated in we began to work on advanced command maps. Only 4 were fully completed and used. The maps were made to increase and simplify communication in clan battles. They came with the usual numbered grid and inserts but were advanced with the use of colors to help identify enemy positions faster (idea by joka). Look below for examples. As a lot of clans make there own command maps these ones will probably not appeal to them. But for smaller clans or clans with less time these may come in handy. Have fun! They look very pretty ross and i can see they must be very handy! i'll have to take them for a spin  are you going to do this for all the GhR and DS maps? they are pretty cool!

They look very pretty ross and i can see they must be very handy! i'll have to take them for a spin  are you going to do this for all the GhR and DS maps? they are pretty cool! I did think about it when I was doing those. But now that I don't play GhR anymore I don't think I will. Also I don't have the original photoshop files that I did them in. I must have not backed them up when I installed Panther.  So that would mean a lot of hard work just to do the grids again.

I was hoping for one more season with alittle extra advantage, but ohwell  I thought you guys would still be using them  . I guess all the toxic guys use them  Did you make anymore of them or update the current ones?

Yes. I emailed it to you. Just remember you need to save them as pct before you can convert them.

rgr that. well its fun playing with all the pretty colours!! some thought needed as to where exactly the key points are, but im sure ill get an earfull full of advice from some of our guys ps.. uve done some fantastic ground work on these maps ross

BFG, do you think you would be planning on releasing some better commandmaps for the DBL mappack maps as well?
Those are the ones really where I actually need them seeing I'm not very familiar with them.

Yes ideally. Id like to take what ross did with the colors and make a complete set. But its extreamly time consuming. And getting the levels just right to get the maps clear etc takes a bit of trial and error - plus sorting out the color coding etc to make it most effective!

No i should think i'll have them done by 2005 Soon as ive finnished my current project, Authored the dvd, edited the other video, done my bit for the sound track, built the two websites, written the essay on the post modernistic approach to the concepts of space and time since the departure of meta-narratives.... and one or two other little things, well then i'll sit down and get them done  Im sure some people will still be playing in 2006!
