Skins question

great mod guys!! wow, and i thought IDF was cool! just one question though

i thought i read somewhere that there are a lot of new skins, but like i only see the Delta CQB and the VIP protection team skins. where's the DEVGRU and the other great skins guys? are they only for the specialists?


i like the Witness Protection Skin but like, i dunno, i liked the CQB skin better and i was wondering if there was like a skin change installer (like NMM 2.0 where you had to install your skins after you installed your mod. you coulda been Ranger//DELTA combo or SEALs and SEAL DEVGRU skins) or just some way to change those VIP protector guys back into some sort of CQB mode

The skins are as-is as far as changing them, etc. there are different skins scattered thru the mod. A lot fo skins don't work with standard characters, and the most unique ones are of course, specialists. There's a completely new roster for GR, DS and IT in there. The IT guys are the SEALS. I'm not a big fan of those utilities that change skins, because the mod is created to present a certain theme, and being able to just switch it all around defeats that.

oh icic, thx coco. the skins are still great, it's just that sometimes i kinda laugh when people run around in T-Shirts in a middle of a firefight

believe it or not, those skins are totally authentic for DELTA or DEVGRU teams on protection duty, when trying to keep a "lower" profile. The missions that use them are oriented towards their intended purpose, which is part of the storyline, heh heh.

I love the plain clothes operators.  I use them every chance I get.

Yeah, Marlen Dewey is probably my favorite specialist, he's plainclothed with the tango weapons kit and desert boonie. That's a custom DEVGRU model Him and Trace Dahlgren, but she's hidden in the rifleman roster and only appears randomly! If you've read Richard Marcinko's "Violence Of Action" (one of his best books, not co-written like the others) you'll appreciate having her in there..heh heh
