wrath thats impossable unless you manualy deleated your kingdom. you would still be in newbie mode (unable to be attacked) in 24 hours =P

First of all:

SK rocks!  Of course if u need tiny little graphics it will be the wrong place for u. I must say its really awesome to manage your kingdom along that many other humans. U have the chance to be voted as a sector leader - or even an AL/Alliance leader. Then its not only your skills in pressing a mouse button but also a personal challenge! I suggest all of u who wonder what SK is to sign in and to create an account. if u dont like it you can still forget about it.

Zomar: Ace is totally right. Game just started and if u redelete ur account as long as u are in a cool sector it will be good i think Wink would be cool to be there with u.
The man who told us about it hehehe.

Btw.: Thanks to mauti ace and me are already active again also in SK - we are both in the secret GREY DEATH alliance (and wonder if mautihas a kingdom too lol) greets! (damnations?)

bander ---- www.starkingdoms.com

(btw i tested other such games and didnt like one of them)

And Wrath: yeah it shouldnt be that easy to be "dead". What Zomar sid is true - u would be in newbie mode for at last 24 hours and be protected from any attacks.

Its just important to do a quick login once per day or your sector mates will think u re inactive and exterminate your kingdom to make room for new active players.

greets and would be cool with Wrath in SK

Sorry Rom. it must be sad that ?you can't picture things in your head. it's just like you reading books only with pictures. if sk had pictures it would suck due to massive loading times and it would be boring to see the same pictures of tanks and planes every five seconds

Well a new SK game has started, so I figured I would dredge up this old thread and shamelessly advertise. It's addictive as hell, but give it a try. If you start now, the game was just reset, so everyone is starting new again.

I play, and I think Bander and Zomar play (You can attack Bander if you find him) Give it a try.

I took your advice and checked it out and I'm in (Kingdom is Socialist Republic in some section (name is under constant change) and in the stone alliance)  Now if I had some clue what was going on it would help.  Maybe I'm just not enough of a geek to get this type of game.  Ace, Zom or Bander, I would appreciate if you could offer suggestions.  Maybe I won't do suicidal attack then.   Grin

Day 1.

The first time I log into a brand new account I do the following:

1. Explore 24 Land

2. Set your scientists onto money bonus in the research tab

3. Build on my land

You have a bit more scope to play with the 3rd one so I will refine it a bit more!!

When you first start your account you generally have enough residences and barracks to last you. A good tip is put everything on starmines, this boost your income in the first vital few days!!

Log onto your account as much as possible and keep exploring. Put 90 scientists in training when u can afford it.

**DON?T FORGET YOUR BONUSES, TAKE THE LAND EARLY THE MONEY AS LATE AS POSSIBLE**

Day 2.

Keep exploring, build 30 training camps, start stocking up on soldiers.

Build about 50 probe factories, maybe a few more residences.

Build your buildings in groups of 16 so you get 1 every hour and your soldiers in 24s.

Keep an eye on your research, try and have the main 3 maxed out as soon you can (money, pop ? if you are volcanic/power ? if you are not, military).

Day 3.

Start putting on some tanks the sooner you start the more you will have when you leave. Keep the soldiers going too and the exploring!

If your research is maxed and you can spare some scis put them on Laser Dragoons.

Day 4.

Concentrate on soldiers and tanks, try to have as many as you can for when you leave newbie mode!

Start looking around for an inactive target for when you leave protection, try and find one whos co-ordinates match yours.

Day 5.

Go and kick some ass!!

Points to Remember:

1.      Stay active in your forums, a strong sector is one that communicates well with each other.
2.      Don?t forget to take your bonuses, this is a quick and important way to boost your growth
3.      Have fun, this is what this game is about!!

That's the best newbie guide I have found. If you have any further questions, ask your Sector Leader. He is the one who should be able to help you.

Question for anyone who plays this game:

Is it possible to change sectors after you have been assigned to one? I am on server one in a crappy server. My alliances right now are with "Avengers" and "Dark" I have a relatively large army (50 tanks, 350 soldiers, and 35 laser dragoons) and dont know of a good target to attack when the game starts. Can someone please give some good advice?

Dark is good Alliance because it is sister alliance of Stone, Imperial, and the other AGE Alliances.  I'm in Stone and Ace is in Imperial so you're in good company.  Basically, attacking should be resricted to non-alliance kingdoms that have relatively low NW (half of yours or less)  Just make sure that your attack won't make a alliance retal and also make sure your alliance is fine with your attack.

I'm actually in Sphynx. No, you cannot change sectors. To find a target, it's best to do a little searching through the galaxies and find targets who look "landfat" This means targets who have a higher ratio of land for their networth. These are usually easier targets.

================

Volcanic Inferno
================
Advantages:
Awesome power output and
you start with the ability to build all missles.
Disadvantages:
Poor population
capacity

Possible Strategy:
If you are an alliance leader volcanic inferno
is the way to go. You can raise and keep shields up all the time to prevent
missle and help defend your land.
Also your buildings, military units etc
require no power to keep up. Only shields and probes would use your power.

The bad side to all this is the severe population hit. This means you build
military slower because you dont get as many soldiers.
Also with lack of
population means that most of your money needs to come from starmines.

Possible Starting Percentages:

35% residences
15% barracks
5% power

15% starmines
10% training camps
20% probe factories

===========
Mountainous

===========
Advantage:
What can I say? Money is good! Cha Ching!
Disadvantage:

power stinks

Possible Strategy:
Mountainous is good for building adefense
right off the bat (you automatically get Laser Dragoons) and you get more
money per turn then someone who is the same buildigns but different land
type.
However to keep yourself from getting that nasty attack bonus of
-20% you have to keep your power up all the time.

Possible Starting Percentages:

25% residences
15% barracks
18% power
22% starmines
10% training camps

10% probe factories

==============
Mystical Lands
==============
Advantages:

Great attack times!!! get your armies back for defense 40% faster
Disadvantage:

loss of attack power......=o(

Possible Strategy:
The loss of attack power
means that you need to send more units to conquer the same amount of land.
which means you lose more also.
The upside to this is that you get them
back faster for defense. Or to attack land again.
Only get this land type
if you are on StarKingdoms alot!
This means that Mystical Lands is a war
fighters dream.

Possible Starting Percentages:

25% residences
15% Barracks

15% Power
20% Star Mines
10% Training Camps

maybe that will help you defend againsst my mercyless whooping

=====================
Forest and Wilderness
=====================

Advantage:
Population Bonus
Disadvantage:
Slow returns on attacks

Possible
Strategy:
Population makes money so if you keep your population research
up you really dont need to worry about starmines.
Also research Money with
your population bonus so that you get the max amount. More Money=More Tanks.

Also it is possible not to build any barracks or need to with Forrest and
Wilderness.
If you have max research in population then your housing provides
almost as much space as barracks. However once you grow beyond the 1 000
land mark you should start incorporating barracks into your land.

Also
with all these residences a lot of money can be made.

Possible Starting
Building percentages:
residences 50%
Power 15%
Starmines 5%
Probe factories
20%
Training Camps 10%

As you grow you need to edit these percentages
so that your kingdom keeps positive in population growth/ barracks capacity/
money making/ probe production/ and power
Once you reach teh 1000 land
mark you should start slowly building your barracks percentage up. A good
way is to bump it up 1% each 100 land. This makes it easy to do and gradual.
The 1% each 100 land comes off of population till you reach 20% barracks
and 30% residences.

================
Desert Wasteland
================

Advantage:
Increase attacking power
Disadvantage:
reduced population
size

Possible Strategy:
using the attack power means that you have to
send less military to attack a person. This means that when you attack will
lose less units and still do damage.
To make up for the reduced population
size you should up the percentage of your residences and make money mainly
off of probes and star mines.

Possible Starting Percentages:
residences
30%
barracks 15%
Power Plants 15%
Training Camps 10%
Star Mines 15%

Probe Factories 15%

As you grow you need to edit these percentages so
that your kingdom keeps positive in population growth/ barracks capacity/
money making/ probe production/ and power

================
Multiple Terrain

================
Advantage:
No disadvantages
Disadvantage:
No Advantages

Possible Strategy:
Multiple Terrain is the Grey of all land types meaning
it is so general and even you can build it anyway you wish.

You could
concentrate on money, probes, population, power etc.
it is good to keep
this balanced land type balanced though. Otherwise you lead to population
getting kicked out of thier homes and negative power status.

Posttible
Starting Percentages:
25% residences
15% barracks
13% power
20% Star
mines
10% Training Camps
17% Probe factories

As you grow you need to
edit these percentages so that your kingdom keeps positive in population
growth/ barracks capacity/ money making/ probe production/ and power

In Server One I'm 12:6 and in S2 I'm 6:33. ?I'm Socialist Republic in both. ?
I prefer Various Land
32% Resident
18% Barracks
15% Power
20% Mine
10% Training Camps
5% Factories
I've edited these as I've already hit a wall on the old one.  BTW, I see no use of probes and no reason I should invest heavily in them.  Sure I can find information and rob banks, but the information isn't that important to me and I'd rather just make my own money.
