Sorry people, but i think im going to go with a No on this one. Not because i agree with rapid's opinion, but that i agree with the fact that it is an opinion. The only thing i can stress about this whole situation is the option to keep your oppinions to yourself when they go against the grain on such a sensitive topic...otherwise, i don't believe he should be banned...just try to ignore it and keep the flaming on the DL, as mellow has said.

So, it's been an eternity since I posted on here... Hell, its been an eternity since I checked the forums. I just wanted to make a statement...

When I first came to the b&g everyone hated rapid (practically). I was nice to him, he blocked me because capt's AH site (granted I helped make it)... Anyway, back then everyone was trying to get Rapid banned. And here I come onto the boards and see Rapid getting "banned" for something else. Ok, if you're gonna ban Rapid just fucking ban him, one of the reasons I left the boards is because every subject repeated itself after about 2-3 weeks. Over and over, iterations... And almost a year later it's the same shit. Either do it or drop it. Sorry, just had to say it. It's not a big issue, not like GR is life.

Mauti its now time to make the decision, 26 members want rapid banned from the forum for a year or more, me including one of them, many of the members are SF, and many have moderating privliges here.  4 ppl voted dont bann him, BTs Eight(DOSNT PLAY RS) Rapid(duh) Nukleous(dosnt play RS) and i do belive typhy(im not sure thow)
so there you have it, mauti i think that what rapid said was meaning for a Year+ bann, that was disripectful, he lames and flames, and pokes hes nose where it shouldnt belong to get attention and to get reactions(which he no dout did today) he complaines that he has an opion and what not, but sence this is private property, and its a communist forum(mods rule all) i dont see that he has a point, he made a rediculas and not needed coment about grifter that made everyone in the *DAMN Forums feel like kicking his ass, he definaly needs to be banned and i think it needs to be for a loooooong long time.  He insults people mindlessly , and makes everyone feel like total crap, i think you should ban him for at leaste 1 year, and if you feel more months (or perma plz) is needed, for the good of the forums, plz do so , he thinks hes unbanable and he thinks hes so clean, but hes very dirty and needs to be stoped b4 he causes any other problems, plz mauti do what your heart tells you to do and bann rapid for good for the sake of the forums

It's difficult to say this, because it is a touchy subject, but it needs to be said.

I think one thing that many of you are not realizing is that Grifter's death actually occurred. Whether or not it happened is NOT AN OPINION! It pisses me off that you could possibly think that it is. No one would pull a stunt like that. Rapid, you have your head SO FAR up your ass. You sicken me.

Well, I do believe Rapid has the right to say what he feels is correct in his mind.  Taking away someone's freedom os speech is something that I dont believe in.  Yes, Rapid might say things that people dont like.  I can understand that they dont like the guy.  But I do believe that he is like everyone else on here in the simple fact that he should be allowed to say what he believes is true, even though the majority dosent think so.  Again, I am not defending Rapid's points just his right to be able to post with his ideas.  to be honest this topic is kinda pointless.  Unless they break rules for the forum then he should be allowed to continue to post, no matter how much someone hates his opinion.  These shouls be the rights for every poster in this forum.

As much as I hate to say this...you cant ban Rapid for just voicing his opinion...but on the other hand you can ban him for flaming the one year memorial for grif started by snipe.

Rapid, sometimes opinions need to be kept to yourself. You knew that you would be starting a flame war, and thats what you got. It also looks as though you are going to get something you didnt want.

You want to ban him for voicing his old well known opinion!? I won't ban anyone because few of you act the same way Rapid does. Below any class. Like hungry wolves that can't await to get their teeth in fresh bloody meat. You always react the same on Rapid. If someone, like Rapid, starts to post in every thread how the mods are biased and the decision in the RnT cb was wrong I ban this person because of polluting/spamming the forum with the same post which cause flamewars or that the topic becomes offtopic.

In this case Brain obviously misused his mod power to enforce bashing and all GG mods have the same opinion against Rapid. So yes they are biased against him and I can fully understand this because Rapid is alltime provoking but this kindergarten isn't worth it.

If he spams he gets the boot like everyone else, period.
