Don't post in the forums unless you have posted at least 200 messages. If you try to post with only 12 total posts, non of the forum regulars will take you seriously, I say this because i see noobs getting disrespected left and right on here, and it seems like the only real respect goes to the people who have wasted days on this stupid forum. ?I'm no noob on gameranger, or RS, infact, i'd say i play more, and am online more than most of the admins and moderators on damn. ?This will be one of my last posts on this forum, cause i'm fed up with the bs.
To all you "vets" of the forums who are on power trips, listen to the noobs, they might not get things at first, but their opinions can be and probly are as valid as your own.

by the way, u call those guys vet although u think they never play RS,but u forget that some of those still play R6 or play a while ago, and they did it evry day and for some yaers, so stop bitching on ppl u dont know how they are and howlong they play. U also should see that they maybe  play on other day time, when ure offline. U cant tell me that u never sleep and that u play fully 24h a day. if u do, then ill call u a stupid zombie withou any life!

But yes, I'd say my 18 months of playing R6 qualify me as a vet despite my complete retirement from that series of games to play RtoCW.

If all you people are retired, from RS, why the fuck do you still post on these forums? also, it only took 6 posts for me to understand that the only opinions that are seen as "valid viewpoints" are those of the people who have posted more than 100 times.

So how is that valid, i see people who retired from rogue spear, who don't play online, but still post in the forums about some game they have lost touch with.

Another thing, even people with posts over 100 aren't respected.. take Romulus and Grifter for example..

Besides, over half of the threads aren't about RS or R6..

Grifter and I still play RS and Ace definitely earned his place among the RS greats with his mad tking skills.

So, please.. don't just take the flaming of a few dumbasses as a sign of general unfriendlyness in this forum. If you have something good to say, good, if not.. well then, you are open to criticism.

It's simple, you can make bigger statement by simply doing nothing, then you could by getting into some flame war with the moderators.


Just some friendly advice. And of course no one is perfect, so this logic doesn't work 100% of the time.

Ok, since when am I always talking about how great I am, or at least more than any of the rest of you.  I make an effort to say how much I suck at RS, but I don't recall making that effort to say I'm good at R6.  Sure, I've said that I was good at R6, but who is denying that I was good (not great or the best) I also say I'm good at RtoCW which I am current at, but I've only said that where it was part of the thread.  I think it was a little harsh to single me out as someone who always says he is good.

Second, I'll just assume putting Grifter in there with Rom was a joke.

Third, jeb, the reason I still hang out here is because it is a good place to talk with other Mac gamers who I became friends with while I was still active.  I didn't think that because I stopped playing I had to stop talking to everyone.

Ok for my real post now, it isn't really all about post count, when I had 20 posts way back in August, I was still highly respected, but that is because I earned that in GR, if no one knows you well enough to give you that respect either through GR or the Forums, you can't expect it to be given to you free of effort.

many people here post a lot of shit here. this just rises the load of shit they talk but it doesnt weight up their argumentation.

get yourself a harder skin, u will need it out there in real life too. dont be afraid about the reseident asses here (who arent that bad if u know em better hehe) and dont walk into their "traps" while running hot and cursing around here. And like Bander said, it's not about how much you post, it's about what you post. ?If your post has weight, people will see that. ?If you post is a bunch of BS, people will smell that too. ?Oh, and like the real world (since this is much like the real world) it isn't smart to take sides in arguments that you know nothing about (which doesn't apply to Jeb as far as I know, but it's the quickest way to demonstrate how much of a dumbass you are, and many people, both here and elsewhere, make that mistake). ?So while opinions are like assholes (everyone has one), informed opinions are what will gain you respect. ?I have no problem arguing with Bondo or Bander or Ace about many things... we don't ever have to agree... why?? ?because I respect that their opinions are well thought out... logical, and usually well stated. ?(of course, they are wrong if they don't agree with me... heh) ?But I respect them for their intelligence in the argument, even if we never agree.
