Apple has seemingly inadvertently posted specifications of the upcoming Power Mac G5 on its online Apple Store. Under the Power Mac G4 section, a list of specifications describes "the world's fastest personal computer" as containing 1.6, 1.8, or 2.0GHz PowerPC G5 processors. Update: The Apple Store is now Offline.

The specifications read:
- 1.6GHz, 1.8GHz, or Dual 2GHz PowerPC G5 processors
- Up to 1GHz processor bus
- Up to 8GB of DDR SDRAM - Fast Serial ATA hard drives
- AGP 8X Pro grapgics options from NVIDIA or ATI
- Three PCI or PCI-X expansion slots - Three USB 2.0 ports
- Bluetooth & AirPort Extreme ready
- Optical and analog in and out

Many Mac enthusiasts and industry analysts are expecting the company to debut new Power Mac computers at next week's World Wide Developers' Conference.

Just read the first article, the link is at the bottom.  Feel free to vote in the poll as well.  

I'm still betting it's a fake.  Biggest give away is that the dual is only on the high end, but that's usually where the chip shortage is.  Well, that is the second biggest point against it, the first being that Apple isn't really stupid enough to make this big of a mistake.

And don't forget that MacHack is fully underway right now.  Hmmm.

It would't hurt me if these specs are true.

However my Apple stocks have increased by 20cent after the post and are now 1.4 US Dollar higher/stock Grin and hopefully in the end of the year they will by skyhigh when iTunes comes for Windows... and then I can affort me a new PowerMac with my speculations

Seems to me like it might be something Apple would "accidentally" do to raise expectations and interest.  I wouldn't be too surprised when at WWDC the actual specs end up being even better than that!

Damn, I can't wait till the new G5's come out, I think my bro and I are buying one!!  All depends on the prices differences b/w the diff. Mhz speeds.
Also, I have read rumors about how the new G5's are supposed to be cheaper than the new G4's, is this true??  I don't believe it, but WOOT! if it is.
