Ah Zaitsev, that's cool. My drummer buddy is also really into drum corps stuff. He plays snare too, and I think he'll be marching in a year or so with some big, fancy shmancy drum corps. Whenever I'm at his house, he always makes me watch this drum corps DVD and says "Damn, the cavvies are good" a lot. good times. He's a hardcore drum corps guy. Really good kit player, too.

I've played piano for about 6 years, bass for just over a year. Nothin' attracts the girlies like a man who can tickel the ivorys.

I played the piano for 8 years. I also bought an acoustic a couple years ago but have yet to learn it. For you guitar players, what do you suggest is the best way to learn guitar if you don't have a lot of time to devote to it?

In other news, instruments are good for picking up chicks. Also, high school band is pretty nerdy.

Tasty, you might want to find a teacher and take a lesson or two. Then, just pull out some albums you like, and try to play along with them. It'll take a while, but it helps you develop your ear. Just like 30 mins everyday, try to play a little somethin'-somethin'.

lol. everyone can play the skin flute. its one of those natural abilities Wink

Well I play/played the violin for 16 years, and the viola for 6. Been in about eight orchestras, and countless quartets.... And was a member of the National accadamy of chamber music, type thingy.

... but i still wish i could hash out a tune on the guitar... and i wish i could play the double bass!

i played sax for 8 years, the only reason i started was because i wanted to jam with bill clinton

I play tuba, yes tuba..

I also play bass guitar and tried guitar but i didnt like it

well... i startet my music career early on Wink

piano... but i've forgotten it all
violin for about 8 years... but i havent played a sec for three years now..
oboe, now the 5th year and still going
e-bass... just startet one year ago...
and there is a sweet alto sax i play for half a year... but theres so much else to do Sad
