Point System

I know nearly every season theres always someone that brings up the point system...so heres my 2 cents

With the current point system any decent clan can just wait until the good clans have reached a fair amount of points and then reap the rewards...I'm unsure if this point has been brought up in the past but i just wanted peoples views.

Pre-Season jeb was talking about a new point system with Pat and i thought it sounded alot better...

Anyway I'm sure this will errupt into a flamewar as they always do.

Yes you can start late and nevertheless get into the finals but ONLY if you beat the top clans several times!

The system is about skills(skillpoint system) and not about the amount of played games to keep up the competition even if you start late. In the end your skills in the finals will decide about the season win and that is the most important part.

The system is now much more competitive than last season.

If you are top clan you don't have to fear late starters. If they beat you they beat you and earn more skillpoints for the first cb but in the second they already get much less because the system notice that this clan is playing well. And after the third won cb in a row they won't get more points than others. So I don't see a problem at all.

I think we should just try this new point system for one season and see how it works instead of abandoning it just because we have indifferences.

Sounds good on paper mauti,

but

It leads to that clans will wait until the season is allmost over, wich means less games. We actually got denied of cb's many times, that in it self is ok but the reason was that they would wait until end of season and try to score points then.

What im trying to say is that the current system promotes not playing....

Well there will always be clans that deny cbs because they take this game too serious. If a total noob clan would ask them they would probably play. Well the system  gives you a point advantage if you don't to play in the first two weeks but then you only lose time due the max 60points limit but most clans doesn't realize that.

And if I look at the cbs: more cbs were done in the same timeframe as in season 3.
