I have just shared some of my sniping tactics. If you feel you want to give hints to less skilled players then feel free to post. By post #15 I expect that you will be talking about getting hit by humvees or Rapid bashing. I know some of you probabbly do not want to share all of your secrets,you could also share some good tactics that you outgrew or have abandoned. I know one of the KoS people have a Rogue Spear N00b academy. So just ?post some general tips for the RS newbie or you could share your tactical genius with us.

LoL Cossak...I'll try to stay on the topic. ?I don't mind sharing some things because I don't wish to snipe anymore. ?I was good at it and have had friends good at it.

In order to snipe you have to be fast. ?You get good aim but you can't take all the time in the world. ?Sniping is easier if you are playing in a game that isn't all sniping then you have a little more time. ?When sniping with other snipers though take quick aim and a couple of shots. ?I suggest moving around and not just staying in one window. ?After taking a couple of shots try throwing a nade and moving around to another spot it you are just sniping back and forth with someone else.

I like sniping in regular games more. No xing is a pain in the arse for me.

something i do is i often shoot before i get a retcule lock, if they take up 75% of the retule gap, i'll take the shot(unless i have time to wait) chances are that i will hit them, and if reticule knock is on, they wont be able to hit me
the walther is the fastest sniper rifle to sight in but if you get hit, you cant hit shit
drago[nauv] is second, and you can actually hit the broadside of a barn when wouded

often the best sniper rifle is an assault rifle, more often than not, shear volume in lead in the air will ?beat out pure accuracy (kill them with accute lead poisioning, hehe...)

one last thing, if you want to x in ?bunkers, take a sd weapon, you will kill ppl and the team mates will think the snipers did it (i got 4 kills like that today, my team matepicked up the fith as he tried to x)(the 2nd and 3rd time, i only got 2)

Ok, here is what you should do. Play road ambush on R6. Go into the water. Crouch. Taunt everyone. Laugh. Laugh some more. As time is about to expire, comment on how nice your bath was.

My tactics Are move around Use HbS after lots of people are dead and sometimes in the very begging

and if you are going to stay in 1 area and snipe use an SA heart beat...

Dont stand still when u go in to a meele u are likely to get run through . and keep circling making hard shots

ummm these may not always work but they worked for me.

my trick...
learn how to rush well, and be good overall rs player, then start c4 camping with the ICT badasses, it might not be that honorable, but its funny

We talking RS tactics, if so I have the ultimate one.  Take nade...drop at feet...be glad that you don't have to play game anymore.

my tatics are random... actually i dont have a tatic... unless i am working with tats.....

but  my main rules for it are :

1. dont rely on hbs
2. dont hold hbs going upstairs.
3. dont rely on all your sa  items or any sensor items
4. switch tatics all the time. dont be predictable
5.  after out of primary ammo in a fight switch to pistol incase another pops and your out of primary
6. if you are going to plant an sa item, learn where to place for maximum capability
7. dont bad mouth oso on his host, for you will be taunted for hours and then booted oout of boredom.
8. aim for head.
9 if your gimped..... then gl cuz your aim is crap
10.if sniping, choose area where you get as much as the map as possible
11. love me
12. dont bad mouth the elites cuz you will just look like an idiot after saying you can own them and you get owned...
13. if you are civ or grifter... watch out for my c4
14. c4 is your best friend when you are getting bored of the same ol assualt..
15. if you see 2 or more guys coming at you , and oyu have c4... wait till you can get them all =D durr
16... rush when they least expect it =D
17. i am going to go on till i get to 100
18. if you are still reading, then i suggest you go to the next post.
19.  dont under estimate triple fire on a rush
20. CAMP CAMP A WHOLE LOT !1 it pisses every one off

sniping tactics:
The only map i usually ever snipe on is the Watchers wood. in this it i important to learn the "scope as HBS" trick. what you do:
1) zoom map all the way out so you can see all the land
2) move to a spot where you can see a good area
3) zoom your scope in all the way
4) move it back and forth across the area where someone might be, while watching your map. when soemone shows up on the map, move the view until he dissppears off the map, then back and forth until he shows up again. he'll be right on the edge of you screen now, easy to pick out.

#1 tactic I've learned from all the top players is...keep moving, keep moving, keep moving. Sure you can stop quik to hBS, but get going again, nothing gets you killed easier than just standing there.

Oh, and I also try to avoid ladders at all costs, you either get shot in the ass or the head and that aint fun...

i think i could be constructive here, and actually help a bit, but 1: most obvious tactics etc. have been given, and 2: if i give out my personal methods, everyone will know what i might do, and they may be able to almost predict me. so no, let's just go into RSD and do some noob bashing.
