ok, it's not a spanking, but that title did sing.

it's 3 minutes left, and nd just got on the board.  nd even started a drive inside the bc 30 and couldn't put a point up on the board.

i figure that i'll finish this post just about the time that the game clock hits 0, that way i can delete it if i have to eat as much crow as ace had to with the sharks loss to the wings.

it was a good day in football for me.  michigan handed msu its' asses.  oklahoma did pretty much the same to colorodo.  bowling green won big and stays undefeated.

FUCK NOTRE DAME AND THAT SPOT!  THAT WAS A FUCKING FIRST DOWN!  FUCKING REFS AND THEIR FEAR OF THE CHURCH!

22 seconds left, i hate notre dame.

12 seconds left.  ohio state looks good today.

4 seconds left.  good games yet to come tonight.

BOSTON COLLEGE WINS!!!  now get notre dame off that bcs now.  don't wait until monday, erase them right now.

Bullshit. That was a touchdown earlier in the game (but I'm sure you will just say that's payback for the Michigan game). But yeah, fuck BC.

honestly, i didn't even see it.  but i'm not going to sympathize with nd, since they get so many calls in their favor.  (maybe do to sexual favors to the refs in that special room hidden inside touchdown jesus.  that's it, touchdown jesus is just a homosexual brothal for use in paying off the refs).

any catholic that is offended.  so be it.  touchdown jesus is not a holy relic, just a statue.

one other thing i wanted to say.  i know that the big 10 doesn't get a lot of respect as a conference nationally, but, like most years, you'll notice that there are 5 big 10 teams in the top 25 again.

they always seem to be there at the end of the year, when the games are played.  but don't often seem to get that respect early in the season.

Oklahoma hand CU their asses?  CU has more offensive yardage and is only losing 27-11.  OU is going to beat CU, but it is in no way handing them their asses.  CU played OU closer than anyone outside of Missouri for the year.

A blast from the past...

Yeah, it was a TD earlier in the game and the refs blew it. Notre Dame fucked themselves with 5 turnovers, one of them being run back for a 71 yard TD by the BC defense.

ace, it looks like christmas came early for us this year.

pitt beat va tech
florida beat georgia
and nebraska came oh so close to beating texas.

we'll have to rethink our top 10 list.

1 miami
2 ohio state
3 oklahoma
4 washington state
5 usc
6 iowa
7 texas
8 bama
9 kansas state
10 michigan

but i'd also bet a beer that they don't drop notre dame out of the top 10.  the pricks.

K-State ahead of CU?  K-State lost to CU and is still behind CU in the Big-12 North.

Are we talking AP or Coach's? Bama isn't in the Coach's because they are on probation. Here is my top 10:

1. Miami
2. Oklahoma
3. Ohio State
4. Washington State
5. Texas
6. Iowa
7. USC
8. Michigan
9. Kansas State
10. Virginia Tech

That's for the Coach's. For the AP, Bama would be my 8 moving everyone else below down a spot.

bondo,

i'm not saying what i would pick as the best (or ohio state would have been no 1).  i'm picking what i think the ap poll will show on monday.  i think michigan will jump over notre dame, and noter dame has one less loss and beat u of m.  but polls aren't science, and don't always make perfect sense.

and i could be way off to.  it's been known to happen.

The end-all of top tens:

1. Oklahoma
2. Miami
3. Ohio State
4. Texas
5. Washington State
6. Iowa
7. USC
8. Michigan
9. Kansas State
10. Virginia Tech

i guess its pretty similar to Ace's, but what the hey? omg iowa will hopefully move up big on the bcs this week. now ohio state is in excellent contention for fiesta, meaning that i smell roses Smiley

Yeah, ours look the same except a couple flip-flops of certain teams. As for #1, the reason I would vote for Miami is because I see no way that you cannot vote a team that was the undefeated national champ last year and has yet to lose this year #1. That said, I think Oklahoma is a better team.
