you fools, the States would not feel any fallout...Eastern Europe might experience a little. The Nuclear weapons of the Indians and the Pakistanis are rather weak in comparison to the Fission and Fusion bombs of the Russians and the Americans.
Hopefully one of the nukes hits Osama wherever he is in Pakistan.

Well, if it makes it any better Grifter, I would want to die with the rest. And I wasn't actually serious about the nuke thing, if we were to have everyone die from nuclear war, the environment would get screwed. I'm more in favor of my Cyanide Socialism thing.

You guys are protected by two seas. I am still a college student in America, but you are forgetting about my home country. The Pakistani-Indian thing scares me alot. First off, our nice freindly uncorrupted neibour to the south, CHINA! China supplies Pakistan with Nuclear techonolgy and military aid. 300,000 Chinese troops are stationed in Pakistan. India, Russia's ally. We supply them with awesome jets and technolgy. Wart breaks out fallout will reach Russia. A possibillity China will attack Russia. And then it is worse off. Many people are scared about this. And No Russia will not hesitate to launch Nuclear Weapons at China. China will invade Siberia. No Cossack is not being paranoid. Then the U.S. will be involved in protecting its claims in Central Asia. (OIL CLAIMS) You will try to controll Central Asia and make it part of your sphere of Influence. Well it is also Russia's sphere of influence. Central Asia is a dangerous area and a very influential area too. Nuclear fallout will not reach U.S. It may surround a U.S. Army ?in fallout and your government will continue the draft. Remeber the World is ?small place. We are all interconnected even more because of globilzation. We lose oil, our cars will not operate. Power will rely on alternitive sources so we can pay RS. ?Lets not forget of the massive refugee situation already at hand that would be made tons more worse. Imagine 250 million refugees in the area. Who will take them? China has enough to handle with its own population,, Arab states barely have enough water. Europe has no space. U.S. cannot make enough homes, and Farsi and Punjabi would be our secondary language. So as you can see, we are screwed economically socially. And this my freinds is the sort of thing that starts World Wars. A war of West vs East. I envision the sides being Russia, Europe, India, vs China Pakistan, the Muslim World. U.S. would be too scared to go into this war at first (massive demonstations, political unrest, possible coups) but would eventually be dragged in on the West's side. Millions of our people would be lost. City will be Nuked. U.S. cities will disintigrate. And there will be no marshall plan. America's seas will not protect it from terrorists with small nukes. Put an Iraqi in a sombrero and I bet you cannot find the difference between him and a Mexican. And get this. The world would be in tatters. And no, I am not being paranoid. As history has taught us, alliances are evil. An example is WWI and WWII. They drag many countries into very large Wars. China is getting allied with the Arabs. And then, there is NATO. This time it will be a true World War with every area a major disastor area. (an exception with South America they are always neutral) And remeber what Gorbechev said,"There are no neutral nations in Nuclear War."

I did not say that you had a bad response. If you read my last post you will see that it was mostly about how U.S. and the world would be affected besides nuclear fallout. And in all likleyhood, U.S. will experience some fallout. My uncle is in the Russian equivilent of the Joint Cheif of Staff (defence ministry). He told me that both nations have around 100 Nagasaki sized bombs. This information is not classified and is widley known. Maybe I should ask my uncle about top secret stuff

yea, but then he'd have to kill you
lets see here, 100 nagasaki sized bombs....
yea, youre right ?the whole world would be pretty muched fucked over by fallout
are the swiss in nato? if they arent, then they would still technicaly be neutral, but irradiated none the less

The least we could do is give everyone in the world a cyanide tablet to take in case of the nuclear fallout. *Sees his Cyanide Socialism becoming a reality* in Mr. Burns voice, "Excellent".

Economies of scale my good man, you get 6 billion orders for that and the per tablet cost is going to go way way down. Bill Gates could afford it. Not that money would be important or anything seeing as after this expense there would be no need for money.

ok, you have the funding(in theory, i highly doubt gates would fund you if this came to pass)
how are you going to make all these tablets anyway(or get them made)?
then you have the whole suicide being wrong issiue with the catholic church(and many other large religons if i remember correctly
and finally distribution, how are you going to get all these tablets out to everyone?
i say we give 'em abunch of chemical weapons(ones that will stay contained in the countries, and wont spread) or high yeild conventional weapons(think daisy cutters) and let them kill each other, and leave us (the rest of the world) out of this mess...

I support the use of more daisy-cutters. I wish I could drop a daisy vutter in RS especialy in Underwater habitat or training maze. LoL I would use it in cbs all the time. You would kill yourself but to me, it is all worth it.

I didn't mean to say Bill Gates would fund it, just that it would be within that price range. Also, stop it with the rationalization, I'm talking about every human dying, there is not sanity to be found there.

*sighs* IF you knew jack shit about Nuclear weapons, you would realize that a "Nagasaki size bomb" is the smallest nuclear weapon. The only fallout caused by that bomb was about a 15 mile radius...hell, not even our warships got hit by the fallout in WWII. One or a hundred, it doesnt matter...the U.S. is in the clear. And about the China vs Russia thing, you are on crack...along with the"U.S. sphere of influence." We don't give a flying rats ass about Central Asia except for hunting down Osama. As for the China/Russia war, that woul never start over something as petty as India vs Pakistan.

*looks at the calculations, shratches head for a moment, then realizes his mistake*
yea, i see your point sin i figurst my estimate on if they had multiple nukes going off in the same area(dont ask why, i just did)
i figured that if the fallout got into the jetstream then it would have become a global problem

Sigh If you knew jack-shit about the real world you would know we have GREAT INTREST IN CENTRAL ASIA. Also the Nagasaki sized bombs would be mostly blown up in the Thar Desert on the India Pakistani border. I am not sure if it is called Thar it is something like that. Anyhow it is the radioactive dust from that desert going into the atmosphere that would reach the U.S. We have gotten duststorms from Mongolia w/o a nuclear bomb blast in that area. Also hey have about 40 50 megaton bombs each. I am not saying the U.S. would die from fallout, but it would reach the U.S. in non-fatal doses. Also are you some expert in China-Russia relations. Obviously not. You will see that very recently they have had many border clashes on the Manchurian Border. Russia may back down from supporting India and war could be avoided. Besides the border clashes and the India Pakistan situation, China and Russia still have a good relationship. So why don't you read up on the subject asssasin and find out the effect of where nuclear weapons are detonated. If it is blown up in a forest surrounded by hils, fallout will not go so far. But 20 blasts in the desert I mentioned above that is relativly flat will have larger implications. Also you my freind are on crack. U.S. has big oil amitions in that area. They want to bring in untapped oil reserves from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to Karachi in Pakistan. Normally it would have to go throuh Russia and in to Europe and then to U.S. The U.S. recievs very little from that area. This move would take away Russia's monoply on the oil in central asia. It would also give the U.S. more oil. Before September 11th we funded the Taliban to make an oil pipeline through Afghanistan. This would not spark a war between the two countries, but serious complications. Assasin you may play Rogue Spear better than me but you have no idea of what is really going on. You probabbly listen to CNN which is mearly propaganda. You base your descisions on your assumptions, not rational facts. You have not studied this area as much as I have, I bet you don't even know where all these countries are. You my freind are ignorant about the whole subject. So read up some more on the history and most importantly the resources of this area. Look at what the Oil compainies say they want to accomplish in their yearly quarterlys, listen to programs other than that from the U.S. and its allies. Go reserch on it and you will see why the U.S. is more interested in this area than just for hunting down Osamma bin Laden. Go think my arrogant freind who is currently blind. And never say I am on crack when I talk about relations and politics in Central Asia, cause you will just be shot down out of the sky!

i feel that i must temper your post cossak, using the fact that you info isn not exactly 100% free from propaganda(from what i understand, the bbc is about as close as it gets to slant free reporting) i mean face it, all reporting has a slant, it is just a matter of who is reporting
oh yea sin, never argue with someone who has a relative in the government, they have the better facts

Brain...my Uncle works in the State Department under Secretary Powell...I have already asked him of his opinion of the possible scenarios created by a war. China vs Russia was not one of them because for starters, China doesn't have enough nuclear weapons to trade blows with the Russians. They both know they were merely kill each other off for nothing...it is kind of like the reason why the Soviets and the Americans didn't end all humanity during the Cold War.
What Cossack refers to is the Chinese desire for natural resources that are abundant along the border. The Chinese view the Russians as weak in that region of East Asia and wouldn't mind taking the resources.
As for the dust storms...true, we ocasionally get hit from dust storms from MONGOLIA (not the India/Pakistan Border) because of an atmospehirc jet stream that is in the Gobi desert (in mongolia, not the India/Pakistan border). Odds are that nothing will hit the U.S.
But there is no point in the continuation of arguing over this point because someone as pig-headed and arrogant as COssack will never back down from his misconceived points. (BTW: Nagasaki is located in a basin next to the Coast)
