Can you help me with a Medal of Honor problem? Whenever I'm joining a multiplayer game, it starts to load, and then as it nears the end of the load, I can hear the sound of the game, but the picture is frozen at the load screen. What should I do?

This is actually a step up from a step down. First I could join multiplayer games fine, then I couldn't at all, now I'm getting sound but freezing.. AH.

1 check if you have system requirements....

2. go to memory, and up your v-ram

if that fails then uh oh

Well, the thing is, i'm 100 mhz below the system requirements. BUT-----I used to be able to play. I just don't get it. bah.

I havn't gotten it to work in os9 in a long time, but when I switched over to osx, this happens.

My mohaa used to do the same thing before I ot an addition 256 mb of RAM and GF 2 mx installed. The fact of the matter is, if you wanna play newer games, you have to have a better computer. Upgrade if you have to.

yeah snipe, don't you have a weak ass imac?
i've got a 466mhz G4 with a geforce 3 and 768megs ram, and it will only ocasionaly drop below 30fps in high settings.
if it still doesn't work buy more ram, or better yet a new computer

     In my experience, MOH has big ol' honkin' problems joining games in OS X. I can play the game perfectly well in either OS, but I am unable to join any multiplayer games in OS X. So I just use 9 for it. ::shrug::

I play in OS X and have never had a problem joining...except in getting time-outs...but that is because the host has to be in the game before others can start loading.

I play in OS 9 and I only have problems with MOHAA in terms of it randomly crashing about every fourth game I get into. Other than that, it works perfectly fine on my crappy ass 400 Mhz iMac SE DV+ and 384 MB RAM.

I play MOH in OSX, never had a problem joining or a single crash.  Gobs and gobs or RAM are the answer.

Seriously, try going in and turning down all your settings.  Maybe your video is trying to switch resolutions or something.

What I found odd for me is when I allocated more memory for MOHAA, it always crashed in the middle of a map load until I reset it back to it's original settings.
