One more, been playing around and now I can make attatchments with little difficulty!

Very nice! That terrorist skin is awesome and the same goes for the helmet cover on the IDF soldier.

Some people are going to be very p.o'ed abou the whole suicide bomber thing though. It's probably going to raise as much controversy as the Black Hawk Down mod for GR did, maybe even more.

Lol it already is causing controversy! But that's OK. If we listened to everything everybody said, nothing would get done. I go by what the fans want, the ones who actually take the time to DOWNLAOD our work and play it, not some guy on some forum complaining about how it looks offhand.

Hey back in the 1st Rainbow Six, in that mission where the tangos took hostages in the amusement park, some of the hostages were children! If you botched the mission, the kids got waxed. And that's from RSE, so I think it's a matter of perspective.

Yeah, that's true however they did pull the 747 mission in the Black Thorn expansion. I'm with you on this one though. I was just trying to say that some people take these things alittle too seriously imo.

Anyway like I said I think those look great!    I eagerly look forward to seeing more ss's in the future.

Black THorn's plane mission never shoulda been pulled, but hey it was only a couple months after September. Yeah I know how people can be, but this time I'm just gonna keep doing what I'm doing and not let the detractors suck me in. Stay tuned!

HA! If you think that's bad... you haven't played Rodion's TANGO GOLD mission pack. Remember that mod? There was a mission where you are Turkish terrorists taking over a 747. The mod was GRADE A Awesome... but imagine all the crap RODION got after 9/11.

Still the mod was awesome so I have no complaints...

Yeah The Temporary Tango could probably be considered pretty controversial now. Was a damn good mod though.

ok! first of all, i live in israel, i was in several bombings like that, im a soldier in IDF! if u dont know!
2 things!
a f..king bomber doesnt dress like an arab if he is going to suicide!
second of all!
how soldiers dont dress in camo. suits!! they dress in "b clothes" which is green completly, and when they have an helmet on it doesnt look like bush with gel to the bottom, it looks like a huge sponge over the head to "break" the "head" sphered shadow. and the logo you put to his arm is of the intelligence department, they dont even freakin fight!! if u want, ill dress in army clothes and send u to show u. and yes i was a warrior now im not im sitting in a office, but my friends are. anyways this pissed me off badly!

Well it caused controversy but just becaues theres going to be a suicide bomer in a mod it dos'nt mean that we think it's right it's just a game for f**k sake an i hope Coco dose put it in the IDF mission pack look what happed to BHD mod it got pulled cause of all the bullshit hope it don't happen again. I don't think it's right whats going in israel an maybe one day they will have peace but like i said it's just a game.

Games are there to relieve stress. Its pretend. Its not real. Its real somewhere else, and its really really horrible. Infinitely horrible. Unspeakably horrible. But think about it, for ONCE IN YOUR LIFE (if you havent already, since u were a combatant in the IDF) wouldnt you LOVE to get the chance (real or in a game) to shoot the living piss out of a potential suicide bomber? wouldnt you want to put lead in his body in a forcefull manner to inflict as much pain on his body as possible before he experiences permanent oblivion? think of it as a way to relieve stress, to use an illusion, a dream, a GAME to do what you and countless living OR dead souls have wanted to do for GENERATIONS.  --> Coco, i really think you should go ahead with the mod.

And if it makes you feel any better Retro, my two uncles are veterans of the Six Day War. One was a paratrooper and the other a mortarman. Both came home, only one the same. My uncle, the paratrooper, although noone else thinks the war affected him much, is shunned by the family (because he shuns them) and is a hermit, living alone in New York. Ive only actually seen him once or twice.

As for the accuracy of the insignias or the exact shape of the models, hey I try to get them close but I'm not living there like you said, so there's bound to be some mistakes.

As for your opinion on the character model, as for the clothing-it's just an early beta like the picture says, I didn't even change the clothing textures, just added a few things to see how it looked to test out. It would not be a mission with these guys walking around in the street. I can see you object and probably feel like I am taking liberties, but put it like this...

I am from New York City, and if someone decided to do a mod where you try to prevent a plane hijacking and World Trade attack, I wouldn't object to it at all. in fact, I'd applaud it. When @war made a mod where you kill Osama Bin Laden, people were angry but I agreed with the creators as well. I DO however, respect your opinions and feelings toward this matter. All I can say is that I'll do my best to make it fun to kill terrorists, in a video game.
