Ok here is my situation. I got a Model 98 Tippmann with the Flatline barrel. I have to admit. I wub my M 98 and I think I might marry the flatline. Then I come across a new gun, the Flatline auto cocker. I was wondering if anyone here tried this interesting gun and what they can say about it. Do you think I should get the autococker??? Or do you think I should stick with my beloved Model 98.

I'm not familiar with that gun, but from experience, I find autocockers to own about everything else in the field.

Don't get the Flatline cocker.

A) It's ugly as hell.

B) Your better off with a Freak or boomstick or anything else on a cocker. The flatline is a hack.

Bah, I have shot the flatline autococker. I went to a paintball store here in town. All I can say is this. Some things are not meant to go together. The Flatline is a great barrel and an ingenious concept. The Autococker is one of the best guns. It is just so well designed. But these two things just dont belong. The Autococker was designed to prevent backspin and the flatline increases it. The two ingenious designs contradict eachother. Better to get a DYE Boomstick for Tourny play.

sorry to stray from the topic a bit, but i gots a 98 custom, and i was wondering where the best place is to get a flatliner? ebay? i was also keeping my eyes out for a CAR Stock....

There is a very nice website with very low prices. I porbablly sound like an advertisment. The web site ishttp://www.xpaintball.com. If you find a lower price on EBAY go for it. I didnt have the patience to bid for a flatline when I got mine so I just went to the site above. I saved around 50$ so it is worth looking at.
