ATI RADEON driver problem

Hey All,

I have a new ATI Radeon 7000 PCI installed into my PM g3 300 B&W. The original driver work well. But after ATI recomend installing the newest for this card i d/l them and installed! But instead giving my system a burst , it let any of my games CRASH - RS, R6 - it crashed already while they start - my screen scews up ( changing to 640x480 resolution, also getting wrong colors and i see only my desktop - green colored - the system is freezed and nothing worlk anymore -

If someone knows this problem - or better -  the solution plz post it here , or via mail.

I reinstalled the old drivers again! R6 works now, again. But i want to know why the newones screw all up! And how to make the work!

Ill try the new drivers in OS X - if they crash R6 in classik mode, too - i will inform u!

You can't play RS in OS X.  That's first thing I and others would like to know.  Whether you're in OS 9 or OS X?

Sorry My problems were in OS 9 - and by the way U can play RS in OS X classic mode and ther i dont have any probs with my drvers, so i think its on OS 9.
