I changed all the IMPACT font text in the game to match the title font. File size will be probably around 20-23 megs when finished. Just have the uni's to do now. Beta release will be thru these forums.

Me, i have friends that BS alot too (we didnt go all summer), but since we're forming a team and the fact that were gonna be lookin for sponsers and all... well we'll be practicing once every other week in my friend's HEAVILY wooded backyard. we REALLY want to take a trip to skirmish, we've been talkin about it alot with a couple of friends that DID go there in the summer who told us a few war stories said it was well worth the trip.

team wise, we've got a very professional looking portfolio ahead of us that we gotta make for Joe Sponser, and a bit of shopping to do.

it'd be kewl to see you there, by all means tell me when ur going. maybe i can get a trip going if i annoy them enough...

TAC Mod is looking good, but that was more or less expected anyway.  Nothing like doing good work and making it look easy.

One tiny, miniscule, almost unnoticeable detail (and you aren't the only guys to do this so don't sweat it).  Every single weapons mod out there (I know, I looked) shows single-action pistols like the Colt 1911 and Browning P-35 with the hammer down.

I know, I know, it's a little thing. But I swear, every time I see that I get the urge to b*tch-slap somebody.

I was thinking the same thing. I never thought about that and he is absolutely correct, and its easy to fix. I will keep it in mind for upcoming mods

Yo Coco,
Its Override and i was wondering if you r gunna use any new character models? Because if you want to but do not know how just hook it up with some pics with what you are looking for and ill try my best to make them for you. Mabey if you like the work i do you could possibally use a character modeler for DTD. Well just give me a hollar to let me know if you are interested.

Override, no disrespect, but you are a little late! Wink I was one of the first modders to use modded CRP's in a mod, the SWAT mod has 8 modded CRP's in it and the @WAR ST6 mod uses 3 modded CRP based skins which I did. Jester hooked me up with the CRP-DXF utility when it was still a prototype, and sent me the tutorial he did before it was posted. All of the models in US TAC are modded, and I have about 30 different ones made now. Thank you for the offer though. Smiley
As soon as I found out about it being possible I was all over it...!

Gentlemen, I would never complain but the hammer being down is true, for that fact just about every hk Ive seen is on safety, lmao. No big deal though, dont think that would be as easy to change. Still a hell of a job, better by far than anyone else Ive seen.

WardenMac is quite correct but, hell, so far, every AK mod I've seen has the safety/selector lever in the upper-most or "safe" position. (first click down is auto, bottom position is semi-auto).

personally i dont care about the hammer thing because the fact of the matter is i get out there an kill with it no matter what the pic looks like if it shoots your dead and besides its about time there is good mod makers out there im sick of the mods that crash or every one likes even though it sux i think this us tac mod is gonna take of and make some of these other mods distinct. also i would like to add that meybe they will make this there first mod they get instead of bsw no offense but im sick of every room you try and get in is bsw and i dont think it is as good as the hk itd mod funny how it works huh  great job so far guys

Coco can tell you at least on the pics that I had to do a lot of work on i.e. HK 53K (new version) the safety selector was moved to the full auto postion.

Hell Cobra, I thought you adjusted the guns in your shop to show safety but actually be on full auto, lol, j/k. Think about it, "No Mr. Terrorist, I wont shoot ya, you can get on your knees, see my weapon is on safety, POP ", lol. What a fantastic diversionary tactic, lmao. You are way ahead of your time Cobra, hehe. I know you and COCO strive for perfection, thats what sets you guys apart from everyone and keeps everyone on the edge of their seats waiting for your next release. Thx guys
