The movie was better because people actually got killed, etc... Not that killing is a good thing, but come on, look at the game we all play everyday!

Ya I know people died in the movie but c'mon. In all those shows no one ever gets as much as a scratch from the weapons , be it guns , tanks or aircraft. Now Robotech , that was a damn good show.

Yeah, anime is cool. The japanese will always kick our a$$ in animation because they don't just view it as a kids medium.

Well, I like some Anime. Not all though. Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, those were great but Digimon, DBZ, Pokemon, Sailor Moon Bs, is Freaken crap!

Yeah Digimon , Pokemon , and Sailor Moon are just kiddy stuff so i could see why you wouldn't like them. I know a lot of people that watch DBZ, but to me it seems like some never ending bad soap opera. It just goes on and on.

Cowboy Bebop, now that's an anime! My personal favorite, I have the whole series (14 tapes I think), it's the best. Robotech, now you're talking. I have the Macross Super Spacefortress motion picture from '85, still incredible. Macross plus ones are also insane. I could go on and on, I've been getting anime's since 89, lol

Hey Coco, i have been watching Cowboy Bebop on Adult Swim on the cartoon network , how much are they cutting out, a little or lot ? They did skip a couple episodes, probably too much to edit. I dig Appleseed, Patlabor, Dominion Tank Police, Vampire Hunter D, Outlaw Star, Venus Wars, and of course CB. Some others too, Just can't think of em.

I have the tapes so I never watched CB on TV, but there are some things that they would maybe cut out... the darkest episode is Black Dog Serenade. But the final 2 episodes are awesome. Basically, the whole last 4-5 episodes are pretty charged. My favorite is Ballad of Fallen Angels. Anytime Spike meets Vicious, it's on!

Venus Wars was also hot, I lost that one but it's a good flik. If you want to see the extreme limit of anime's perversion, go get on of the 2 full length "Legend of the Overfiend" movies..leave any kids or women out of it!

Venus Wars was a good movie. Demon City Shinjuku was pretty good too. Fist of the Northstar was really cool. Nothin beats heads exploding after a fight.
