I'm using these mods on my system;

Uniform Elite or Lloyd's Skins
BT
COE
LWM7.05
US TAC
RDG
(+some small mods incl. various mission packages)

I've found out that I no longer can run UO relatively stable anymore. Much because of all the files being progressed and these new maps that are occuring.

I would recommend that the min. requirement should be set at: While using the larger modifications.

PIII 500Mhz or equivalent
64mb graphics card
256mb RAM

So. What system are you using - and what mods? How does it work? Are you satisfied with your rig..? (I know I ain't! I need to upgrade... One more time, once again, duh...)

To be honest my pc has 63 megs of RAM and is 700 mhz fast. Thats why i dont like GR :-). I useall DTD mods and it usualy works fine. sometimes i use the atwar ST6 maps and then it gets a bit slower. but the joint forces skin mod is quite large so i can understand why its so slow. oh and the RDG maps are veryslow on my PC

I am using a PIII 500 with a VooDoo Graphics 16mb card and 384 mb of SD ram, and I have no problems running any mods.

I run a Gateway 500 Celeron with 128mb ram and the video crap it came with . I can run up to four mods at a time , example : Uniform Elite , Narf's Heavy Fire , Oil Rig , and Jester's Halls . If i add another mod map it usually crashes . Sorry i didn't use any DTD mods in my example , you know i love your work guys . I spent four hours yesterday playin UO with Ser's 50 tangos and the U.S. Tac Mod . I had a 64mb vid card , but it f'ed up .

Seems to me like you are really pushing it Pro_Ordnance! Those are some huge mods, many with the same files in each. Not to be funny or anything, but I never use Loyds mods because thay were always really buggy. All it takes is one bug in one mod to cause you problems. I'll run RDG with maybe a small DTD skin mod, (unreleased, hehe) but I won't activate any more. I ran a PII 450 with 256Meg and a Nvidia TNT2 32Meg vid card when developing all DTD mods so far, just got a new toy now, GR is a hungry app.

Yea, tell me something I don't know. Well. I am using a debugged (private) version of the LWM7 with added wep's from DTD/Coco MODS. It's just that LWM7 has the most files - biggest mod, in essence. The LWM7 ver I'm using is privately modded from my side. I've been perfecting it since last year. In the end the whole wrapparounded mod includes wep's from other mods integrated under LWM7 (reticules/sounds/gfmc etc.), it has turned out to be the baddest and wildest weapon modification that is (that's my opinion of course). I have about 450 primaries - all carefully debugged, and about 110 secondaries also carefully debugged. Sounds and reticules are adjusted to LWM standards. What have I basically done? I've stolen material. I haven't distributed it though...

You see, I'm good with making the whole thing work together, but I'm a god damn newbie in making something for myself.

I'm planning on upgrading the rig in late july. The whole thing will run much more smooth when it has the right cards.

BTW, I've gotten Global Ops. It wouldn't run on my rig, so I'm kinda looking forward to upgrading.

Just curious...Why wouldn't the public release of LWM7 be debugged if a private one exists?

I have debugged - not any modding team/clan. Cocobolo. You have to remember that this is something I've been doing over a long peroid of time. I haven't follow a deadline nor did I plan on going public with this. This, much b/c I'm not yet one of the plank owners of the LWM. And additionally, I've been 'stealing' files from other mod makers in making the whole thing run stable and (i.e) making it a perfect wep/skin mod. That way there's no way I could go public with it. Besides. I don't even have my own web page.
Cheesy

Anyway. There are thousands of possibilities to Urban Ops. You can do anything with the proper knowledge. I've been playing it for years. And I'm still kinda hooked...  Cool

I have a few skins here and there that never were put into anything, and also some that were used in collaborations but never released seperately. I may combine them into one skin mod and release it, it would be maybe a dozen skins.
