I've tried every single way... RS just passes over the new patch(meaning I've replaced 1 of the default ones) i've also tried every single pict format and still nothing... i've tried hitting the computer to make it work and still . NOTHING .

What am i doing wrong? Short of throwing the cd out the window i'm stumped? some help would be nice.... Cool Cool

You have to convert your .pict armpatch back  to a .rsb file! And remember the file must be 32*32 pixel. May you have done it 23*23 like many people had when they contacted me  Wink

Hi Romulus sure you can add your own voice! - No problem but you have to pay attention to two things:
if your voice files shall appear in the multiplayerboundkey options you have to name them tm_(filename) or tf_(filename) (teammale; teamfemale)
If you use new names only guys with the same files will hear them or if they dont have your files they will hear nothing. Second the soundfiles have to be simple sounds.(On some systems also wav. files work but general if you use simple sound files nothing should go wrong) (Download SoundAPP; its freeware and it comes along with many convert options).
The other way is to overwrite excisiting voices so other players will hear the original voices!
I hope I could help you,

Mauti

This DAMN site loads about 50-75% faster on a PC at the college I was at...

Face it, PCs are BETTER then Macs! Sheesh.. nobody will give you any respect if you just keep blinding yourself to the truth.

Windows may be 0wn3d by the Mac OS, but the PC hardware is definitely superior (notice I spelled it properly Smiley)

Heh.

I have a 500 mhz P3 downstairs hooked up to my LAN, using the *same* DSL connection, the DAMN forum loads 50% faster then on my Mac.

You are just another blind Mac user who refuses to accept the truth.

Why dodge bullets when you can just suck 'em all in!??

« Reply #13 on: September 04, 2001, 05:41:21 pm »

excuse me. I think this would be a good time to but in while were on the subject of "speed for coputers". I went to the public library like a good little boy and went on the computers  Grin I checked out my own site to make sure it loaded correctly, and it did, on NETSCAPE. I also noticed that it loaded much faster on NETSCAPE than my PC with AOL. It also loaded graphics nicer, due to the fact that netscape has a worse graphic thingy, but I also happened to notice that Netscape downloads faster. Now I'm not saying that sending a 70MB file from AOL in 177 minutes compared to Netscapes, that would take about 1 hour and 6 minutes, is a big deal, but IT IS TO ME!!? Cool

the reason your site looked better on netscape is that AOL takes it upon themselves to recompress the images making them look crappy as hell, solution: download internet explorer!

Im Canadian, eh?

« Reply #17 on: November 21, 2001, 04:54:49 pm »

I know I'm replying to this post a little late but...
I think that I'm starting to agree with wrath on this one.  After all the problems I'm having with my iMac I'm driving towards three options:

1) Get a better mac (at the age of 14 I can't really afford anything fancy so I'll probably get a good B&W)
2) Leave computers altogether.  Maybe I'll take up a hobby...like knitting.
3) Go PC (this is a last resort)

If anyone has any suggestions of canadian cash, send it to me and I'll be grateful.  You can be sure your money will not be wasted.

No one knows me, which is tight, unless u check out GR, but I just gota put my two cents in since I got nothing better do do but play with these icons of smilly faces mutilating echother.  Im prob gonna sound like a dumb ass, but I realy dont care.  What some 1 said about sending what was it? a 70MB file across AOHell? GOD DAMN BUDDY! Your one lucky SOB.  I would be fucking lucky to even send a 100k file across AOHell man, even when using IE as the e-mail sender.  (Gota love those old net providers ^.^)  I find that it doesnt depend on the computer nor the type of modem that your using to check out sites, I find that at diff. times in the day, it depends on who is connecting to the site and downloading and shit.  I put enough of my 2 cents in and will prob never see a reply since I just found out this place even exist. But will game on in RSUO man.
Oh yea,any 1 that LOVES the WWII mod, im gonna try starting up a clan 4 it and stuff.  Just cant think of a name yet?  Gonna use CS2 also.  Yes I know it crashes alot, but gota admit, its better than U.S. Tacs.  Just food for thought.

Later all ?

Stryker ? Tongue Tongue

p.s. that nada dude is me w/ them, so I ban nadas at times x.x;
