 The Steyr Sturmgewehr77 (StG77; 77 indicates the construction year), also known as Assault Gun (AUG), is the Austrian Standard Army rifle. The AUG is made in Austria and is also used by the Australian Army(with grenade launcher). Next to the standard model our Jagdkommando(our NAVY SEALs) as well as the GEK and Cobra(best police special forces in the world; the Cobra still protects iraeli airplanes) use a short version of the StG with 9mm. The standard gun
uses 5.56mm. The combat range is 300metres(maximum range 2700metres). The gun features an optical 1.5zoom. I also have tested it on targets in 500 metres distance. The result is always the same the Steyr StG behaves like a sniper rifle. Every shot is a hit. You only need 10shots to setup the optical zoom and then even guys that have never used a gun before hit everything. Even moving targets on 300metres aren't a problem. It's awesome and even scares me how easy it is
to hit something. No comparison to Rogue Spear. Honestly it is 10times harder in Rogue Spear to hit something than in real. Only if you run(not walk) it is almost impossible to hit something, you even miss targets closer than 50metres. Btw did I mention that this gun has almost no recoil!  The gun consists of 6main parts(pic on the right): the barrel with the gas pressure arrangement, the case, the clasp, the sights and the piston. Because of its unique design and construction you can take apart and reform it within 10seconds. Another advantage of the design is that you can customize and change the purpose of the gun very easily:
just replace the barrel with a 80cm one and the 1.5 sight with a 10zoom sight and voila you have a sniper gun within 5(!!!) seconds. There are also kits that change the StG into a LMG(Leichtes Maschinen Gewehr), like a M60 or SAW249. And everything can be done within seconds. It's outstanding. The only disadvantage of the Steyr StG77 is that it rusts fast if you don't take care about it. I guess if they would have used more expensive stainless steel this wouldn't be an issue.
 About the sights: If the optical sights get destroyed in combat you still have classical sights on top of it. The optical sights use a small circle as crosshair(pic at the right). This circle has a radius of 3 "strokes" which means if a 1.80metres tall man is complete in the circle(6 strokes) he is 300 metres away.
The main fire method is single shot. You can also shoot automatic but because of the guns accuracy you use only single shot. The start speed(v0) of the bullet is 990metres per second, that's to less to cause a tissue shock. However you can increase the bullet speed to 1000+ m/sec if you change the gas pressure to practice munition. Now every shot is deadly. What's a tissue shock? - If a bullet hits you with a speed higher than 1000metres/second(a strip shot is enough) your body tries to recognize what happened. But the bullet was so fast that your tissue can't recognize it. It's like a computer crash: when the PC tries to finish a task but it can't because it is an endless bow.
 While the tissue still tries to find out what happend it burns itself. The tissue dies: after 15min the hit part gets red and after another 15mins it is black. That wouldn't be so bad if it wouldn't grow. A tissue shock doesn't stop it burns itself as long as it reaches your heart and then you are dead. The only way to save yourself is to cutout the wound, e.g. if your arm was hit you have to cut off your arm. I know my explanation sucks but may you get the idea what a tissue shock does. It's a really bad bad weapon and forbidden by the human rights. But as I said the official bullet speed is only 990metres only with the hack of the practice munition gas pressure you can achieve a tissue shock.
 Rogue Spear and real accuracy: as I said it above the Steyr StG77 is a dream to use. It is so easy to hit something and almost no recoil make this gun really "comfortable". The RS version of the StG is all but the StG I used for 8 months. Even the accustic is much better in real. I noticed that most weapon mods for RS or Ghost Recon don't have real Steyr StG77 sounds. The Free Lybia 1.4 mod has the most realistic sounds(original is still a bit louder and resounds more),also the behaviour is very realistic except the zoom.

 To sum up the Steyr StG77 is one of the best guns in the world. The design is not only futuristic it is useful. There is a reason why even more and more US police special forces switch to the Steyr. However I had my fun with this reliable gun.
