Yes of course - i heard from individuals which can play exactly the same game for 10 years or longer, saying gg, gga, fuck, shit and LAAAG 10 million times during that period and feel very entertained by the same (odd) sounds, go codes, maps, guns, skins and other stuff.

i figured out there are some guys who like to bash at maps mods and stuff like this.

listen: if u dont like them. its okay. but dont be like brewski who comes into a SK&BO host (r6) on gameranger and starts to annoy us(me) with bashing on *DAMN maps (they sux, this map is shit ... etc.). When i asked Host (from my Clan) to boot him (not meant honest lol) he suddenly claimed: Who do u think u are? Telling Host to boot me. I said i think i am Bander and Host is in my Clan. If someone doesnt like maps or cant handle em he shall host his own maps or whatever. (Brew handles all maps very good thats why i wonder why he feels necessary to complain - even when he knows damn is a mod maker clan also).

Enough: i got no prob with brewsk. u guys who know nothing about modding and are just r6 players maybe have no clue what a LOAD of work modding is. maybe this is the reason why u fire off such damn comments.

btw: my own mod POA (with an excellent ITF ported Gunsound add on) is downloaded 250 times so far.
I guess u should substract those 250 from all those  from who u claim they would not like mods.

For me r6 would be hell boring when i would still use the original r6. haha - no i am not that easy to satisfy.
and i dont think a new reticule makes your r6 game crash. lol. or lag more. hehe.

But i think all those "bashers" just came back from RS to R6 and "forgot" that after half an year or so it can be very odd. Ratatatatat laaag. Hooooosted.

Also i figured out: Whos able to mod r6 can mod all games. For excemple i tried BG and modded a character straight on the first attemt. Was easy. Almost as easy for an U.S. Vet to kill me on Killhouse by running past me. But its not so stereotypic boring and u can use ur phantasie and creativity. (not only: shall i rush or snipe lol).

But its that easy:
U dont like mods? its okay. Then join no-mod hosts and dont get some.

But PLEASE: Dont be cocky and step on our "modmaker" nerves with pointless and useless comments like those. its obvously when u come to a r6 mod makers and clan site - that u will piss people on when bashing their work. Same in their hosts.

he is a very good player (even when others are more symphatic for my taste) and should be handled with respect too.

in fact i personally am UNABLE to respect people who throw shit on MY work or skills. WHo disrespects me/my clan/my work gets dissed back or should at last not expect nice words or warm feelings from me.


This goes out to all people who are good in pressing mouse button really quick, and can move their fingers in a fantastic way to move a tiny pixel-soldier around a city street, air and other laggy areas.
And this also goes out to all these who think Bander is a bad player cuz they seem never to have heard about pings lags and stuff. (the only thing i hear from such when i host is: damn 56k. get a faster connection. omg banders laggy host. lol - FOR ME every single U.S. game is exactly like that. Same for all other euros.

i respect mod makers.
and i respect all those vets with an bright attitude
i also respect nice newbies - it can be fun to help a nice guy started and share your experience.

Bander u are RIGHT   and u hit the piont:

many of thes R6 vet. are great playres but i can't say that i like them much some of these guys i really hate beaose of their behavior on Eur and sometimes on US hosts. When they win they often laugh at these poeple the have shot, and why the lose they are SUCKER complaining lag and hosted games.

So be nice ppl and dont piss eachother in games it's enough to piss eachother on this bullitin board

Bander, no one is insulting your work here, even Ace.  I just find most mods cumbersome.  (I do like some of the modded maps though, especially the oil rig ones, whoever did those, good work!)

I gotta respect any man crazy enough to sift through hundreds of simpletext files, but it doesn't mean I have to like the end results.

BTW, I feel I read that little rant before... wonder why?

Yeah Bander modding does work for all sorts of games...I've been looking at the ResEdit resource fork of NetFungus and finding all these bugs and fixing them.....it's nice to be able to help ?

to avoid any confusion, that was sarcastic, only demonstrating the pig-headedness of some americans becasue we currently have a lot of economic power or something like that.

and if anyone thinks i'm actually serious when I say lag or hosted, they need to listen carefully to what my next excuses are: my hand was chopped off last night, i'm permanately blind, navigate through maps by movement feedback, jesse was my dad, god hastes me, the map had an unfair advantage (on maps like csl), BLUE DOORERS! (on maps other than csl), etc.

however, I will say lag, usually "got a little lag there, anyone else?", only when

1. it wasn't happening previously
2. some ass is claiming hes god because he won via MAJOR lag
3. when it is just really, really, bad, i.e. warping, timeouts, etc.

like i said in a previous post, the mauti or damn or whatever map pack is great, it uses existing maps and modifes them, causing little or no lag, except on maps which there 100 barrels and such.

however, other mods, which add new maps, textures, sounds, etc. just aren't meant for r6. its not the modders fault rather, redstorm's R6 for the mac was not designed to handle major mods.

blakie i agree with u. i personally hate lag VERY MUCH too in GR hehe but as u discribed how to "complain" just makes the game more fun - cuz its humorous. even me and my badass english chan check that hehe.

i dont wanna play the teacher at all (they sux - most of) but u know me. i am tired and in a r6 - someone pisses me on and suddenly i start a chatwar. i just wanted to beg u to be so nice in helping preventing this

ja and black u are right again - depends on a map if it gets laggy or not. and also r6 wasnt used to be modded ya. but on other hand i could use my mod knowledge to mod some baldurs gate chars really quick hehe. IT IS fun. (Normally i hate cheating but the BG patch sux so bad ..."

to make this clear and prevent misunderstandings: I also didnt feel disrespected when he comlained about "four rooms" map. i just said its enough to communicate this once. not like a "papagei" on and on

by the way - when i am wrong kill my cat - but i think that map is "older" than brewski is on GR.
