Hey Guys-

I don't know but it can be quite boring not using GR. I'm not saying it's the end of the world and I don't know how I can go on. But I think that was should gather up a list of all the permabanned people, and all these banned people could meet on AIM and get their own games going. I don't know, I need some suggestions. I just came up with this but you guys can post some suggestions here for it like we could have a chat that is open on AIM all the time so if you want to play just go into the chat and.... well, we will figure it all out but for now just get some ideas.

Let me know. Keep this going, because I think all the guys that are permabanned could have some fun now. No gay admins to worry about being banned. We don't care why you were permabanned either, all permas welcome.

Well think of some ideas....

BTW: My IP address is 24.190.71.245 if you need it. Just don't do anything that will get me in trouble because if it will I just rather be banned.

I don't have a static IP. Mine is always the same all the time. I think my idea could work we just have to figure out quite how we going to do it. Maybe Zom@r and me could figure something out since me and him are always on AIM talking together. Well, let me know...

BTW: Don't all of you think I have uses "let me know" way to much already is these last couple of post? I think so... so let me know------>lol I did it again damnit

it's called a hardware key, it is how u get permaband, u can change ur isp, or ip number all u want, u still wont get on a server if they've blocked ur hardware number. might i suggest a new comp?  if not, then some serious groveling to evill.

The easiest way would be this:

? Make a "GR Permabanned website"
? There u make a list of all "members" just like we have
on our *DAMN "whos online" section
? add a very small message board to the right of this
? post IP adresses beside the "member lists"

if someone starts a game he just has to type "i host" or somewhat and all others could join.
also try to find a "around" time - where u guys mostly are all on so its easier for u to know when other PERMAs lurk around to play.

Maybe this club also could join not banned guys too later so - if they host on GR it .... hehe.

so find someone who makes u a website!

*DAMN Bander

so - if u see someone is

Alright guys, first things first.  It's literally impossible to bypass the permaban.  (Unless you have an intention on buying a new computer which has a new IP.  #1: IP ban...bans your IP.  #2: Hardware Ban.  Which bans gets your hardware address (Click info in your TCP/IP control panels).  Now, you may think he can't get to it because of internet, but, he can.  YOU installed his program onto YOUR computer.  I'm guessing when you log-in, it sends your hardware address AND ip address...so his log should looks something like this:

Peekay  Account #  [timelogedin] (IP ADDRESS) , Hardware Address

if you catch my flow, there isn't any way to get around it...Or you could use OS X as explained before.  Bye

I don't think you can get around it either, unless, you do what Romeo said, which I think would work. But if you did that you would have to play under OS X and how many games work under that OS?

Bander's idea is good, we could make a web site and then all the people who are permabanned get their names posted on it with their IP addresses. Then we make a chat and we can have some games. It is a dumb process of starting a game but, hey, if anyone has a better idea... feel free to share.

Exactly. If someone knows something better go and tell it.

Some more ideas: Scout around the web for the best available chat application (wich is free). The benefit for u IP banned guys could be that u can play vs PC users too. via IP join it makes no difference.

So Peekay seems very competent in web stuff. maybe he can put something on its feet.

good luck - bander

Yeah, that's cool Bander, thx for ideas. Peekay, do you think you could get a website going? And then once you get a site going I will get a list of people and IP addresses? It will be better then not playing, so Peekay let us know if you will make us a page. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular just something we can use for now.

Yes he is.

And I have a suggestion Peekay.....now that there's nothing to lose, you might as well try to hack into the server for real.......just don't crash it while the rest of us are playing  Grin

Maybe sometime at 4 in the morning?  Cool

Alright guys...You got me...I"m Juliet, but I have to tell you the whole story too.  Smiley

It all started with me and Romeo thinking of new names on GameRanger because my old OLD name "WebDesignerServr/Serverman" was just getting pretty stupid indeed.  So since reading in Lit, we were reading Romeo and Juliet, we came up w/ it.  Now, I was also doing a Final Report (I started ahead of time) on how girls are treated in the world and internet.  (I added internet because it felt right).  I got an A- Smiley  And I have quotes of what all you guys said about me being a whore and stuff, so the truth's out...UH oh...I'm A GUY!!!!  And the pics Romeo did send of  "me" to other people was some random pic.  Hehehe.  Well, it's over now, and I changed my name to Peekay, new lit project, Power of One, best book i've read in life.  And by changing map control panel (HINT HINT CLUE CLUE CHANGE WHERE YOU LIVE) i "moved" to south africa.  Well, all was fun and me and Romeo had a lot of laughs on how people started hitting on me.  LOL.  Well, thanks for all the fun and stuff.  And the good grade.  So, all of you that hit on "Juliet" probably feel stupid right now, but I won't point or say names.  Because I probably would've done the same thing.  Later guys

I have good idea also, but will probably take A LOT of time and A LOT of programming given to some linux/mac friends that know the web like they know + - * /.  Well, this is the plan.  We make a program, that logs ALL games on GR.  Okay...now, my friend, has an OLD computer he never uses, but this could be useful.  He does this.  He goes on GR under his IP, (Will be kept confidential, because if Evill finds out, we're screwed).  And the program will log EVERYTHING, ip, ping, ect.  And post it out web site.  So easy going for everybody, evening non-R6 players...Nice way to get around it right?  only ONE problem.  Firewalls and Routers, that'll be our major problem.  And remember, I'm not gonna be able to do this in 3 mins...this could well take a couple months, so any programming skills, please e-mail me at this e-mail address my bro don't use.  "WebDesignerServr@aol.com".  I need what I can get and I'm not exactly the "l33t" programmer here.  I'm just full of ideas.  Well, if anybody else have some other good ideas or add-ons, please e-mail me or post.  We could change EVERYTHING that happens on GR, screw GR, who will need it!  LOL...thanx guys
