Whoa...
"Spread liberty by getting those stupid liberals to shut the fuck up and quit bothering us with their BS."
A bit contradictory, don't you think, GS. But hey, you never seemed very bothered by contradiction.
Also, the values of people who lived over 300 years ago (no matter how vitrtous they were) seems problematic. If that's what being a conservative means, then why don't you become an ultraconservative and endorse values like "death by stoning" and the like.....

Okay, I vote we kill Abe.....by stoning him to death.
Now are you happy?

I recently joined the Paul Revere Society, which was created by Michael Savage. I was so impressed with the mission statement that I donated $1,000 to the organization. You can join too, just go to
www.michaelsavage.com
. Here is their mission statement:

The Paul Revere Society
Borders * Language * Culture
The Paul Revere Society brings together Americans who actively seek to take back our borders, our language, and our traditional culture from the liberal left corroding our great nation.?
We as Americans inherited a country built on a lust for liberty and compassionate conservative values.? At the Paul Revere Society, we understand that our freedom is not only our right, but also our responsibility.? We refuse to sit back and watch liberalism trump ethics and morality through blatant ignorance and judicial arrogance.? We will not let the earth around us quake as the Founding Fathers roll over in their graves every time the left attacks our schools, our faith, our national security, and, most importantly, our families.
The liberal left is ashamed of our past, uncertain of our future, and lacks respect for the principles of personal responsibility.? The America WE belong to cherishes our nation's rich history and is confident in our potential.? We share a love for the values that still resonate throughout the United States: free market capitalism, religious faith, individual liberty, and the idea that all are created equal and endowed by our Creator. ?
We believe in the Sovereignty of our Nation; that English is the national "glue" that holds us together, and that the Bible, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and what they stand for are our common cultural heritage.?
The Paul Revere Society fosters a unique opportunity for Americans to assert the values inherent in these pillars of freedom.? Through grassroots organization and active chapters nationwide, we will be successful in bucking back liberalism by protecting our borders, language and culture.? Liberty is infectious, it is our job to spread it and defend it.

w00t!

P.S. "w00t" was added by GhostSniper and is not an official trademark of the Paul Revere Society.

You are so crazy. :-)

Hell, you could walk up to me and punch me and I would probably just laugh. I'm not the type of person who would ever pick a fight with someone (fist fight is what I'm referring to), but you step over the line with the core of my patriotism, and you will find out what I am capable of.
Oh, Now I am going to have to drive all the way down to Missisippi just to punch you in the face at your car dealership.
It sounds like Micheal Savage is just describing the difference between urbanites and non-urbanites. This is a dillema that has existed throughout the world and history. Nothing new here.
Everyone does not have christian values here, one needs to get over that fact. Non-christians have existed in the United States and they always will exist in the United States. Religious tolerance is vital to the unification of this mixed up country.

Democrats beleive in the free market, they do beleive it should not be totally unrestricted. They also beleive in a free market. GS beleive me when I say this, these democrats are nowhere near to the Communists of the old Soviet Union. They also beleive in individual liberty. Thats kind of why they are seen as eroding our "values." They have a do as you wish mentality when it comes to your lifestyle. Faith is something some liberals have. It might not be the faith you talk about. It might not be christian, but they have faith. You know there are conservative atheists as well. Dont get me wrong, I am liberal and I hate atheists, most pessimistic people you can imagine.

True, english is the national glue and that is something that is eroding. However, that is as much fault to the Republicans as it is the Democrats. Making all the illegal imigrants leagal? Thats just asanine. As for the US Constitution, both sides see what they want to see. It angers me that the left wants to dismember the Second Amendment, it also angers me that many conservatives want to make the United States into this Christian utopia.

Again, liberalism is not opening up our borders, it is a bi-partisan effort to fuck up the country. Whose language and culture are you protecting? Last I checked, liberals celebrate the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving. They might not all celebrate christmas, but not all conservatives do either. The US has changed since colonial times. We have had Italians come, Russians come, Chinese, etc since the Bill of Rights was made. We cannot "revert" back to the old times of New England puritanicalism. They will never come back again. It is about as asinine as hoping for the reformation of the Soviet Union in my country. Its in the past, leave it there.

We were talking about burning an American Flag, not Christian values.

The problem I see with the Second Amendment is that it isn't clear, and is a contradiction in application.
If it is an individual right to bear arms, rather than discussing militia, I think there is a good argument in saying the government cannot tell us what arms we need. The local libertarian newspaper (it is the major paper for my city) used this argument against the assault rifle ban. But using this same standard, it is unconstitutional to prevent US citizens from owning nuclear weapons and other WMD. To me this thought is just madness. But I do not think you can make a constitutional distinction of "arms" between rifles and handguns and WMD. I think a constitutional amendment is needed to clarify the second amendment since it is one of the least clear Amendments.
On the other side, certain restrictions like waiting period, no gun-show loophole, gun registration, safety requirements, etc. do not violate the second amendment. They do not limit rights to own guns, they just put certain limits on how one goes about getting it.
This is similar to if the Supreme Court said door to door solicitation was not protected under freedom of speech because it violates the right to privacy of the individual being solicited (unfortunately the Supreme Court has held up the solicitors rights in that instance, though seemingly not for telemarketers...but that specific point hasn't been addressed yet so it is hard to say what would be the ruling.)

Oh, I completley agree with background checks and three day waiting periods. If you are not mentally fit to own a fire arm, you shouldnt own one. However, for the rest of us who wont go on killing sprees, firearms should be allowed.
Now this is going to be way

Have fun sitting in jail GS, over the burning of a flag because I don't doubt that you would know when to stop. You would then be arrested and put in jail for a few months...great role model.

lol....who said I would get caught? Hell, Hydrochloric acid does wonders when a corpse is immersed for a few hours. Hard to convict someone of a crime if you can't produce a body.

Ghostsniper,
You just said you would commit 1st degree murder over the burning of a flag..ur insane. Plus it would be very costly for a large amount of HCl, not to mention the guilty conscience you would have for the rest of your life, have fun in hell.

I dont believe he said he would kill..but he probably would punch you out, and quite frankly, I cant blame him. I wouldnt, but GS and I are different. And, he has strong feelings for his country, which I can respect. We all respond to insults dont we...thats what flagburning is...an insult.

The map is not the terrain. The photo is not the person. The flag is not the country.

Brutha,
He said that HCl does wonders to a corpse when it is emersed for a long time, implying that he killed someone, and doesnt want to get caught, and therefore wants the body to decompose so there is no evidence of a body. That is murder, and loth is completly right on this one.
