I Joined the Paul Revere Society...
«
on:
October 02, 2004, 04:39:49 am »
I recently joined the Paul Revere Society, which was created by Michael Savage. I was so impressed with the mission statement that I donated $1,000 to the organization. You can join too, just go to
www.michaelsavage.com
. Here is their mission statement:
[/size]
The Paul Revere Society
Borders * Language * Culture
The Paul Revere Society brings together Americans who actively seek to take back our borders, our language, and our traditional culture from the liberal left corroding our great nation.?
We as Americans inherited a country built on a lust for liberty and compassionate conservative values.? At the Paul Revere Society, we understand that our freedom is not only our right, but also our responsibility.? We refuse to sit back and watch liberalism trump ethics and morality through blatant ignorance and judicial arrogance.? We will not let the earth around us quake as the Founding Fathers roll over in their graves every time the left attacks our schools, our faith, our national security, and, most importantly, our families.
The liberal left is ashamed of our past, uncertain of our future, and lacks respect for the principles of personal responsibility.? The America WE belong to cherishes our nation's rich history and is confident in our potential.? We share a love for the values that still resonate throughout the United States: free market capitalism, religious faith, individual liberty, and the idea that all are created equal and endowed by our Creator. ?
We believe in the Sovereignty of our Nation; that English is the national "glue" that holds us together, and that the Bible, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and what they stand for are our common cultural heritage.?
The Paul Revere Society fosters a unique opportunity for Americans to assert the values inherent in these pillars of freedom.? Through grassroots organization and active chapters nationwide, we will be successful in bucking back liberalism by protecting our borders, language and culture.? Liberty is infectious, it is our job to spread it and defend it.

w00t!

P.S. "w00t" was added by GhostSniper and is not an official trademark of the Paul Revere Society.

Wow, you do know Paul Revere was born in Massachusetts, don't you?
PS: The Klan is recruiting as well, their mission statement is similar.

My point being that he was born up in New England in the same screwed-up liberal area as Kerry....not in Texas as is widely believed.

Yes, I was aware of that, he also purchased his ranch in Crawford a few months before taking office. I brought up Massachusetts, because it's the liberal threshold of hell, according to the GOP.

Crypt, he is the most popular non-party Talk Radio personality in the United States. He is a conservative, but he is an independent, not a Republican. Also, the guy has a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in Epidemiology and Nutrition Science. He says things a lot of people want to hear....anything but BS.
P.S. He is also the person that, in 1994, came up with the term "Compassionate Conservative."

He is also a nutter.
I mean, he is for individual liberty, but somehow I'm guessing not gay rights.
He is for the Bill of Rights, but somehow I'm guessing not the right to burn the flag.
He probably doesn't care about freedom of religion enough to oppose having "under God" in the pledge.
At least the Libertarian party is consistent, these non-party "libertarian" Republicans are hypocrites. I have heard Savages radio show and it usually is the same sort of utter nonsense that Rush Limbaugh spouts. These people think they represent the founding fathers? That is just absurd. The founding fathers were the ultimate liberals for their time.

I was wondering when the day would come that burning the flag would be mentioned on this forum. Just for everyone's information here.....
You burn the American Flag anywhere near me (such as within quick driving distance of me if I see you doing it on TV), and you will get to find out first hand how well I was trained in the U.S. Army Rangers. No joke...I take that shit serious.
Sure, you may have the "legal" right to do it...but I will flex my "illegal" right to fuck you up.
Peace.

So basically what you are saying is that you are morally depraved and have no regard for the sacrifices that have been made to defend our liberties. It is those liberties, not the flag, that is more important to our nation.
For the record, I wouldn't burn a flag, I think it is a poor means of expression and anyone who does burn the flag probably won't and shouldn't be taken seriously. However, I do think it is a means of expression and thus shouldn't be taken away.
GS, you REALLY need to calm down. This level of hostility and hatred that you keep pent up in you, ready to explode at the slightest provocation is not a positive attribute. If you were to hurt/kill someone over burning the flag, you WOULD be the greater evildoer. You talk about your faith, doesn't your faith say something about Thou shall not kill...and turning the other cheek?
Finally, I just feel I should ask. Do you hate me GS? Would I be in danger if I was in the same room as you because of what I say? Does my use of freedom of speech upset you? I want to reassure you, I do not hate you. I pity you because I do not think having your level of animosity for many things as you've voiced here would be healthy or make for a happy life...even with the bundles of money you are making now thanks to Bush.

No Bondo....or Bucc (or whoever you really are, I still think you're Bucc because Bucc stopped posting here shortly before you came back on the scene).....I do not hate you. I am actually one of the most mellow, laid back people you could ever meet. 6 years of civilian life has REALLY mellowed me out more than you can imagine. But there are just a few things, if done in my face, that will make me want to hurt someone. Burning the flag that I and most of my family defended, and that I watched buddies of mine die for, is one of those things. Hell, you could walk up to me and punch me and I would probably just laugh. I'm not the type of person who would ever pick a fight with someone (fist fight is what I'm referring to), but you step over the line with the core of my patriotism, and you will find out what I am capable of.
I could sit down and discuss anything with you....that would never get me angry enough to attack you. You can "say" anything you want. We can talk about any topic. You're use of freedom of speech does not upset me. It is one of the hallmarks of our nation. Oh, and I am very happy. Just don't burn an American Flag in my presence, that's all.
Peace.
