Just an FYI to all the friendly folk out there... there is an ass on gameranger calling himself "PLACEBO" amongst other names. ?His ID# is 51897. ?He's been joining games, disrupting them with TK's and talk of all the clans and their cheat mods.... ?After being booted, he usually enters the game with another users handle (every time I saw, it was someone from a clan) and then proceeds to be an ass flying those false colors.

Color me reactionary, but I don't like this kind of shit. ?If you have a beef with someone, come out and say it in public, don't disrupt everyone's games. ?For the record, he wouldn't answer me when I asked him why he's doing it. ?I suggest that unless someone knows better, that we just use the ignore function to block him from all our games.

The message here is that there have been a couple of posers on GR, pretending to be someone they are not, going into a game, TK'ing and other bull, etc. et. al.

The easiest way to stop it is to simply use the ignore and ban features of GR for now. ?And to give the bastards a lot of shit.

And Peekay, if you ever really do learn to hack, you'll know better then to advertise it.... ?If I wanted their IP, to do anything underhanded, wrong, mean-spirited, or just plain sick and wrong, I sure as hell wouldn't be posting that message here. ?Think before you speak! ?Oh, forgot, you can't, that's why you are banned in the first place.

to get their IP's, invite them to a game, then check the last IP to contact the R6/RS ports on your firewall. but Peekay, hacking is BAD and we dont hack! also, if you are going to hack, you do it to compleation, and not get stoped. Peekay, since my Lord Evill (Scott Kevill) left those messages about you on the board, i have decided that my servers will NOT be helping you with your plan to avoid GR, and post the IP's and Ping's on a site. thank you!

Hmmm... let me think about this, I'm educated, wel read... let me check one of my books here....   yep, most of them agree that Social Engineering is one of the most effective tools for Hacking (or of the Hacker)....  hmmm let me see, so when you were trying to brute force (to use that term VERY LOOSLEY) the GR servers, that was "social engineering"  At leaset learn what the terms mean before you use them!  You are beyond dumb or ignorant, you are a jackass in the first order.  You are lower then a script kiddie.  

FYI, I am close to finishing my Masters of Science in Information Management with a concentration on Network / System security.   So before you tell this forum that the word "Hacking" doesn't exist, try looking it up in the latest Oxford English, eh?

OK, enough debating with witless neophites.   Peekay, just don't bother to express your lack of knowledge any further, I don't think anyone here actually believes that you know what the hell you are talking about.... Romeo goes through 5 proxies, BFD..... that means nothing unless he controls all the logs (or uses various other ways to remove tracks), now does it?  All routing your signal through multiple networks does make it a longer trail unless you know how to remove and leave fake trails as well.  God, don't you even read a book?

But I wouldnt call myself an expert.  There is way too much I still have to learn.  I have, however, been a computer consultant for the past 5 years.  The really funny thing is that my company usually charges $350 / hr for me to call people a dumbshit.  Here, I'll do it for free!
