So, you know the difference between pings, and how to do a NS lookup.... very good.... but why would you know an "average" ping to his web server???  I mean, I don't go around pinging web servers enough to get an "average" ping out of them.... unless there's a problem connecting (which would be a lousey time to trust the round trip time) or if I'm doing something bad.... were you doing something bad???

And, since we are on the subject of pings, how they work, etc..... you do realize that the time returned in a ping is the round trip time, right??  and not how fast you can actually send commands at something....  you do know this you expert haxor, don't you??  And you further know that you can control how fast you send commands within certain apps, right Peeky???  So that with my computer here, I could flood out pings to you much faster then the actual turnaround time if that were my intent.... and your log (assuming that you keep one) would show my attempts every 0.005ms or so (that's as fast as the program I use can send them), minus the lost ones.  Yes, I'm sure that you know that a ping command actually tells the receiving computer to send a like command back to the origonator... and that the time measured is the time between when the command was sent and the acknowledgement was returned (including time for the target computer to process).  Yes, I'm sure you understand all this, and just hope that nobody else in the wold does, cause they aren't elite, and you don't want to tip them off.......

So, now that I've explained to you HOW you (or romeo, or anyone) could send over more packages in a second then a ping of 180 says you can, Now, tell me why it couldn't be true........

First things first...FOR THE 1048577TH TIME (2^20 + 1).  Me and Romeo are COMPLETELY different people.  Ask Wrath, Hockey...WE HAVE PLAYED IN THE SAME GAME AT THE SAME TIME SEVERAL, repeat...SEVERAL times.  Now...What you were saying about ping.  Yes, you can send it fast...but...I want you to go read your books (the ones w/o the pictures) and try to send data over FTP thru the login/pw password at those .05 speeds of yours...If you figure it out, tell the pentegon how to do so also.

Send a logon and password at those speeds, not a problem at all Peekay......  5 or 6 easy ways to arrange that, that I am aware of.  I'm sure the Pentagon knows many more then that.  As I said, I'm just a novice.  But between scripting, using some commands in a nifty brute force program I have, and setting up all 5 computers here in my home office (oh, yeah, they do all share the same IP you know, as far as the log is concerened)..... I can do those all right here, right now.  Stop showing your ignorance!  It's old already.  I have pretty much demonstrated HOW IT IS POSSIBLE to do what the log says, which is what you said was impossible....

To anyone who didnt realize the full signifigance of my last post:

Peekay has claimed on numerous occasions that he is spoofing IP's and is planning to spoof his mac addy (address) on his macintosh. Well I hate to be the one to burst his bubble of hacking dreams, but sadly its just not possible to spoof his IP or mac addy using his good ole friendly macintosh. Therefore he must have a knowledge of linux, the required operating system to be used for such a task, and perl or another programming language to be used to craft such an app.

Not completely true.  I know that you can spoof your IP on a Macintosh.  I'm not sure about spoofing the MAC address or on the Mac, never tried that or read about it yet.  I imagine it is possible if you have the right networking tools at your disposal.  Plus, you'd be amazed at what you can do with the program IPNetRouter.  It wont spoof your MAC address, but it can fool a computer by routing it a few times (different IP's, computers, MAC's etc).  The logistics of it make it more difficult then the technical issues.  Also, isn't there a verson of PEARL for Mac's??  I thought there was one, but I could be wrong.  This isn't even taking into account using telnet or otherwise moving through other computers to "spoof" your ID.  Like I've said before, this always leaves a trail of one sort or another....


However, all this being said.  It would take more creative thought then our DUMBASS Peekay seems to have.  He probably is using linux, not because he has mastered it, but because he can probably find scripts already written to download.  Not that I have much confidence that he will be able to patch the scripts together to make them work.  

I know this much, I'm not going to worry myself that Peekay will create this super program of his and start bringing anything more then his dumbass talk into our lives.  

Could Peekay get past a ban of Evil's... possibly.  I know that I could do it at least 5 times before I'd have to really work at getting around it.  But I'll never have to, because I'm not a Dumbass that will get banned in the first place.  And before any other Dumbass asks, no, I will not tell you how to get past being banned (and it helps that I have quite a few computers of different types sitting right here in my home office, more then one type of connection, and I know a little bit about eitherpeek and the ways that networks communicate).  

I'm also sure that if Peekay does make it back, it won't be long before he's banned again.

spoofing your IP and hardware address can easily be done on a mac, even so, peekay, as grifter said, isn't smart enough to make a program and even if he was evill would ban him pretty quickly.
