It's been a year since I left this forum. Though apparently my name lingers on. Through some maybe slightly obsessive nature of some of the posters, I'm mentioned every month of my absence. Not quite sure what that is all about.

I hope by now heads have cooled and people be they 10 or 35 have matured a bit. I know I am an older and wiser person than when I left. More moderate (though radically so I claim), graduated from college, bit more at ease.

I'm not sure that I'm coming back or will be forming an account, don't use my Mac for gaming any more so the only reason I'd hang around would be witty banter and enlightening debate...and from the looks of it, there isn't much of that going on. I don't know which of the old-school group remain around. Either way, I hope others are able to put the animosity behind.

I realized there were flaws in my behavior. I made some comments that were decidedly unkind, even if they were partly taken out of context and made worse by those at whom they were directed. I apologize for those comments. On the other hand, I think anyone looking back with an impartial mind will see that there was much to fault in how those who opposed me acted. Aside from a general bullying attitude which may well be acceptable on the forums even if distasteful, the cyberstalking committed by a few individuals, that was the reason for my departure was beyond justification. But I guess that would go with why my name is brought up still...some people just have a certain obsession good or bad with me.

I hope that childish animosity can be forgiven and overcome so that I can return here, where I spent a few enjoyable years sharing good times and good games with a large number of friends. I'd like to think my positive contributions to the community between fun GR banning stunts to my service with the Battle League to classic R6 battles will be remembered more than the arguments.

Thanks for the warm reception.

I find it humorous that you either get "first this person now you" or "now that you are here who next?" Its a past/future variation on the same theme of people coming back. I wonder what Freud would say about people's choice of either past or future forms.

Suddenly it all makes sense.... all the bickering... all the fighting... it was all just a ruse to make us think bucc and bondo were different people. But after a time the strain became too much to bear and it became clear one of them had to go. And so went Bondo off into the night... or did he?

Bucc stayed with us causing just as much ruckus as ever until such time as he left. But bucc/bondo couldn't leave the forum alone and though he could not bring himself to return as the brash buccaneer bristling with bravado. It simply wouldn't be fitting. Now the more mild mannered and somewhat more than bicurious Bondo, on the other hand...

And so we find "bondo" once again in our midst. Convenient, isn't it? But that was bucc/bondo's great mistake for everyone who knew bondo would surely have known that bondo, should he be real, would almost certainly have found himself imprisoned on some kind of child pornography/child sex charges by now.

And therefore, I present to you, the good people of the GG: Bondo/Buccaneer in all it's unclothed glory. The emperor has no clothes! The emperor HAS... NO... CLOTHES...
