Moore's point was not that everyone should send their kids to war, it was that you shouldn't go to war in the first place unless you are willing to send your children (and even yourself) to war. Otherwise, you're just throwing darts at a board and playing a real-life version of Starcraft. Zerg rush that shit up.
There is a huge difference between saying "I would send my children to Iraq" and saying "I would allow my children to go to Iraq that is what they wanted to do." It may essentially mean the same thing, and Moore knows this. Its all in how you phrase the question.
Moore makes a pretty worthwile point here... do you think Bush would allow his sons to go to war if he had any? If they wanted to? No, probably not...
