A fun interview between O'Reily and Moore

Moore: Oh, he lied to the nation, Bill, I can?t think of a worse thing to do for a president to lie to a country to take them to war, I mean, I don?t know a worse ?
O'Reily: It wasn?t a lie
M: He did not tell the truth, what do you call that?
O: I call that bad information, acting on bad information ? not a lie
M: A seven year old can get away with that ?
O: Alright, your turn to ask me a question?
M: ?Mom and Dad it was just bad information??

The amazing part about that is how tollerant Moore is towards O'Reily's half assed answers.
You'll notice that he never said wether or not he'd send his kid to Iraq.

Meh. O'Reily's isn't much of a challenge at all though lol. He's used to being able to bully around his guests to get away with his dumbass responses. Moore does bring up a good point or two, but I still hate the way he makes his "documentaries".

Pretty good, nothing special. Perhaps it would have been more interesting to end it in a brawl... Then again they may not be the best example of a good fight... well, maybe fight is a bad word for this, how about catfight?

I think this question of Moore's is especially clever - it is a double bind, and I don't know how I would answer it if I were in O'Reilley's position. Obviously, nobody in their right mind would say they would sacrifice their kid... in any situation. If he says he wouldn't, he is just proving Moore's point.

I think, had the war in Iraq not been an unjust war, for non existant reasons, O'Reiley would've been able to give Moore an answer, not a direct "Yes or no", but a far better one than he gave.
Perhaps something along the lines of "If my son were serving in the US Military, then he is willing to lay down his life in the line of service, to protect his country, and, if it was required, to protect the United States, I would send my son into a war to protect this nation".
However, in the wake of the fact that the war in Iraq is, if anything, putting the US at far greater risk, I don't believe that response would've worked.
Moore's point is that it's not Bush, or O'Reily, in this case, who gets killed. It's US Soldiers, many of whom are less than 2 years older than me. I've got friends serving in Iraq, some who support the war, others who think President Bush needs to get off his fat ass, grab an M16, and head out on Patrol in Fallujah.
When Bush choose to go to war in Iraq, he signed away, so to speak, the lives of thousands of people. It's all to easy to do that when you don't understand what war is like, and when you're not the one getting shot at.

Moore did make a good point typhy, but I still feel like it was a drama queen way of saying it. I can almost here how he said it cause it's like his trademark to do his clam voice with a pin question. Oh so exciting.

i caught the end of this one on FOX news, where after the interview, the reporter says 'you see what micheal moore is saying? it's blind nepotism i tell you.' ehh excuse me mr. fuckwit, but did Dick Cheney's oil company get exlusive rights to go into Iraq? stupid slut.
but yeah, moore really could have asked some better questions, and overall i give him a C+ on this interview, because he allowed that sleeze bag to hold his own throughout. he should have decided how he can get completely under his skin and make him lose balance, it's so easy with o'reily.

I'd suggest that it appears to be his day of stupid, illinformed posts, but then again, that's everyday.
