How long can you go without responding....?

Ok, my old roomie and I used to play this game... how long can you go without mocking a dumbass (usually another of our college friends). ?And it usually involved a bet with beer as the stakes. ?I'd like to introduce it to this forum. ?

The question is: ?How long can you go without responding to a DUMBASS?

My thought here being that I may have been encouraging dumbasses here by responding and showing them attention. ?And not just me. ?So I challenge Ace, Loud, Blackhand and Wrath.... who can go the longest without responding to mock a dumbass?


And, if you were wondering, yes, I'm bored off my ass in a stupid training class today, so I'm taking advantage of the time to bypass the proxy control and do a bit of surfing....

Seriously.. replying to a dumbass just gives them a chance to respond and be an idiot..

I'll bet I'll be the loser b/c I want that Senior membership w/o too much spamming of the board.. unlike a certain resident dumbass.. *cough*rom*cough* who is will willing to post to anything any amount of times to become a Senior Member.. although that should mean more then just number of posts.. but a respected member of the board..

I'm good for it Ace, ask Wrath. ?I fedex'd him a HD. ?And I almost slipped up already... I had to walk away from the keyboard, least my fingers just type the remarks on their own.

I'd inclue Wrath and Blackhand in the bet, but I know Wrath isn't old  enough to drink (so he couldn't pay up) and I don't know how old Blackie is.  So I'll bet one 20oz. Bell's Oberon against your favorite brew Ace.

And I nearly blew it again, as I added this last using the modify key, and was going to point it out to certain users that reply to their own posts just to pad their stats....  man, it's harder then you think....

And you made it real hard for me by moving that thread on French / Spanish over.... I actually started typing a reply before I came to my senses... if that isn't a petry dish for Dumbasses, I don't know what is (I'm not mocking here... close, but I'm not.... man, this is not easy with all the targets)

Ok, here's the update.....

Blackhand is out.  The two finger and broken keyboard counts as a mock.... and I for one would like to thank you for it.  Loudnotes has not been picking up the slack, so at least now Blackhand will have free reigh to run amok again.

SEALS Ace and I have pushed the envelope a few times (Ace wasn't trying to be funny, but he did write something to get a responce from somone....  I have skirted it a few times... especially when begging Loud to get on the ball.

Wrath is squirming in his chair every time he reads the forums.... just itching like a bad case of hemroids to mock somone.

Good luck all... I'll be surpirsed if the three of us are still in the running by Monday.

ok since all three of us left are moderators (and a certain one of us is prone to abusing his powers) i propose an addition to the rules

the Wrath Clause states that if one of us (as determined by the other two) abuses our powers as moderators, he shall lose the bet... this includes deleting and modifying posts in order to bend the rules of mocking someone

in laymans terms, BAD WRATH.... BAD BOY.... NO COOKIE... GO TO YOUR ROOM, ITS TIMEOUT FOR YOU

Yeah, I came real close to abusing my powers and modifying one of Loud's posts to make it a *touch more scathing*..... I resisted. ?But the though did cross my mind.... ok, it's been doing laps of my mind, but as long as it doesn't travel down to the keyboard, I'm still in it.

I don't think it's needed.  We are all men of honor here (at least the ones in question), no matter that some of us may be unhealty colored white irish buggers... hehe.  No, I say we need no other clauses.  I'm sure that when we each fall (and we will, because mocking dumbasses is just too hard to resist) that they will own right up to it.  This is all in good fun.  Let's not start mocking each other, just to vent some of the humor which is collecting in our heads, least we lose the bet.
