They played well, but one element didn't fit in. THE FUCKING REF
I mean cmon. One of the Czecks was holding a Dutch guy around his waist, and dragged him down to the ground. IN the penalty box too btw, and the Dutch guy had the ball and could have gotten it in if it wasn't for that guy. There were alot of very bad calls by the ref. It also seemed to me that the Czecks went down quite easily....
It was a good game though, damn good game.

Yep, absolutly. Poor Colina in the sidlines must have been beside himself! That had to be one of the worst refereed matches ever.

They should make a training video of it -
1 How to play football
2 How not to referee a match

Crikey, well it was goals galore in the England  match, final score was 4-2 (two more goals from Rooney!)
Zidane scored another cracker in the France match, before the swizz put one in the net before some kid called "yohan vonlaten" or somthing became the youngest guy to ever score in a Euro championship match.

England are going to have one hell of a match against portugal... i don't like the odds!

Ahem.
GREECE.
There. Now that thats out of the way:
1. Who cares if Americans care or not. This is the real football, while the American football barely uses the part of the body mentioned in it's name; the foot. "Oh, thats a great idea, lets call it football and use our hands." Dumbasses.
2. No, the US is not playing in the European Cup, so we can all just stop rooting for the US.
3. Go have some fun with this: www.theyrule.net.

Belive it or not Most of Europe, and anyone and everyone who likes football. When you did geography at school did they bother to point out that there were a couple of other blobs on te globe other than north america??

ps.. rooney. omg what a freaking kid. Only problem seems to be with our defending from set pieces, we've conseeded 4 in from 4 set pieces.... so if we could stop that we could really have a great chance.  What a game though! Cheesy

GS, just try not to spam so much... it would be like having sex without a rubber.....MUCH better!

Rooney must be England's hero at the moment. This 19 year old is showing some good skills.
But beware....you are facing Portugal in the quarters right?

Nope, no problems there.  I married a Baptist Preacher's daughter....they are WILD!  lol

Plus I am the son of a Baptist Missionary.

So I'm all set there.

They are playing tommorrow against the Czech Republic.
At the same time we (Netherlands) are playing against Letland.

If Germany doesn't win and we beat Letland, the Dutch will go to the quarter finals. If we loose we are screwed and the Germans got the ticket to the next round.

Tommorrow will be exciting! Starting at 20.45 CET (both matches)

Germany are on tomorrow...as for GS...SHUT UP..this is footy talk, not politics(not that you know much about that either Wink ). Besides, you dont need anymore post to tell us that you are a forum whore.

The ref in the czech match..come on archer. All the dutch players did was run around sulking on every decision..by the ref, the coach or the players. If they want to win, they should grow up. The bad calls from the ref affected both sides. And Ruud.....ah yes...what a bastard. He was the worst of them. Stop talking about bad calls in that match, and celebrate good football instead, because what I saw in that match was football that can bring the Czech republic a new trophy.

Oh, btw...did I mention that Rooney is a brilliant player? (though the biggest brat out there)

As for denmark-sweden today, I hope for 2-2 or more...as long as it is a draw Grin
