Well...i don't know if the admins have disguessed this yet but i've posted it before and I think it's worth bringing up again.  This is for GhR btw. Wink

I think that the rule should be changed from: Loser picks the next map to Map is randomly chosen no matter who wins.

Anyway...this is just something I wanted to bring up.  Smiley

That quickly becomes a problem when people have alternate maps with alternate spawn points.

I understand your thinking, but would you suggest the loser pick the game type?  If the loser picks the game type as WZ in a 9v9 CB, what if the random map is Small Docks?  What if the game type is LMS in a 3v3 CB and the random map chosen is Wilderness?  Your thinking is alright, but the random option does not pick based off of he number of players or game types.  I do not foresee a change to this rule.

Are you talking about TRR maps and HX maps?

The only solution to that is to not have the host have server-side maps.  But you are right Noto...that's the only flaw to it...

Even without the server-side maps, there are some crap maps for certain game types and numbers of players.

I'm looking into something though... it should be interesting...

Alright....cool, because this will give a fair chance for all teams to win on every map and not just...one team picks a map, wins it...the other team picks the map, wins it...and so on.  Wink

I just thought....say you were doing a 9v9 and it picks docks...maybe if both teams agree to not do it then you can do the next one.

I'll give you a hint for what I am working on...

The Map Packs contain all maps, right?  I'm looking into specific maps packs that would be activated, like a GhR Team Map Pack.  Then you could set it on Random regardless of the map of number of players.  Also, a CQB or FFA Map Pack that would only have those maps that were suitable for the game play.  Ths would be in addition to the game type that woudl automatically select kit restrictions and such.
