Why dodge bullets when you can just suck 'em all in!??

« on: May 07, 2004, 03:22:02 pm »

I would really like to do some type of skin modding again, but I've been getting kinda busy lately.

I made some neat skins for rogue spear, but only the beta testers got it and I ran out of webspace (which my friend had).

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for games I should try modding. I was thinking about soldner or halo, but I don't know if those are so great. If anyone would like to see my RS mods, I'd be glad to email them or get some space to put them up lol- I worked on them for 3 years, then right at the release, the webspace closed down.

I don't know if I really even have the time these days, but, what games are good for making new skins?  Huh

Silent Strike Mod almost ready for public distribution- get feedback from beta testers, put up final mod, put up site, and voila! Maybe a couple days or week (s) remaining!- web space down- cancelled for the moment

Well the better question is what games are POSSIBLE to make skins for. RSE is usually good about releasing he tools to mod their games, but something like Halo, or (AHEM) Amrica's Army, they'd rather not have people messing with. There's always a way, u just have to find the right people to crack the game open sometimes. Also, you want a community of moddding for a game, so your work can be played and appreciated. Maybe try Operation Flashpoint?

Ok, I'll look into that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Just finished playing soldner, and it's pretty bad when you fire a rocket at an enemy and shoot it 5 times just to find out its your own shadow lol... cheap graphics  Grin
