4th Generation iPods

Appleinsider reports the 4th Generation iPods will have a colour lcd and 50Gig of Capacity...

If that is true I'm finally gonna buy an iPod. I hope we can watch .mov or avi's on it with DivX codec like the Jukebox does. Or play some cool full coloured games on it, while sitting on the train.

Whos uses trains anyway? Mass transportation is for pussies....drive a car, makes you feel like a god... Preferably your parents car so you don't have to pay for the gas...

Probabably gonna be expensive as hell, and i just don't see iPods needing a color screen yet. I'm gonn use my mini for a sole purpose, music (and some backing up of files.)

Isn't it only the 1st generation iPods that have theese problems? I know that no one knows if the 3rd generation have any problems, but i've had my 2nd generation 20 GB iPod for 15 months now, and it still have atleast 8 hours of battery life when full charged.

I think it would be awsome to have a 4th generation iPod with a color display, sure it would be more expensive, but now that the iPod mini have come it will be the "cheap" solution. The iPod mini will also be feauturing bigger HD sometime in the summer or the fall(right?), so it will be the small cool music player with enough space to a normal big music collection and maybe a little backup(or a little music collection and some more backup) while the 4th generation iPod will be the big one, with lots of space and capabilities.

i have a 40GB 3rd Generation... not really any problems - somtimes it seems to drain faster than normal and im not sure if i get the full 8 hours... but i certainly get more than enought time, and well charging it isn't exactly a lot of hassle!

Id be surprised if we see these 4th Gen ipods having some of the feautres mentioned... if somthing does come out like this im not sure if it might not be a bit of kit completely seperate from the ipod...

all I gotta say is if we could play .mpegs, and other media files on the ipod, many wouldn't even use their computer as much. Dling of porn would be non-stop for many of us....including myself. YEAH PORTABLE PORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well $500 is way too expensive for me, so I'm not too hyped up about the color screen... I'm just hoping there will be price cuts on the 15 gig iPod.
