"An eye for an eye makes for a blind world."-Mahatma Ghandi

Is that the exact quote? Cause i heard diffrent versions of it like
"an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind"
"an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind"

Im probably wrong as usual, just curious to find the right version  Wink

"Pray: To ask the laws of the universe to be annulled on behalf of a single petitioner confessedly unworthy." --Ambrose Bierce

"You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence." --Charles Austin Beard

"Men stumble over the truth from time to time, but most pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing happened." --Sir Winston Churchill

"De omnibus est dubitandum" (Everything should be questioned) --Descartes

"He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice." --Albert Einstein

"I wish to propose for the reader's favourable consideration a doctrine which may, I fear, appear wildly paradoxical and subversive. The doctrine in question is this: that it is undesirable to believe a proposition when there is no ground whatever for supposing it true. I must, of course, admit that if such an opinion became common it would completely transform our social life and our political system; since both are at present faultless, this must weigh against it." --Bertrand Russell, "Skeptical Essays", I (1928)

"If it's not on fire, it's a software problem." --Matt Burch, Ambrosia Software

"[Five years old] is a time when the eyes are wide open and the patterns are not yet set; a time when one has not yet been hammered into accepting everything as immutable and hopeless; a time when the hands cannot do enough, the mind cannot learn enough, the world is infinite and colorful and filled with mysteries. Five is a special time before they take the questing, unquenchable, quixotic young soul of the young dreamer and thrust it into dreary schoolroom boxes. A time before they take the trembling hands that want to hold everything, touch everything, figure everything out, and make them lie still on desktops." --Harlan Ellison, "Jeffty is Five"
