I really want to see a show about soldiers, like the old COMBAT tv-show.

I liked that show. They used MILES gear and mock terrorists, and had guys from SWAT, Force Recon, Navy Seals, etc. It was like a military version of survivor. Kick ass.

Oh... and it was hosted by Rudy... the Navy Seal from Survivor.






But the only real TV show I need is The Simpsons.  Cheesy

They need a war show in the theme of the old gladiator tournaments.  forget about death row, put those sons of bitches up for death against one another.  They are all pretty much up for death for being mass murderers so let them compete on a new level.  It's not like they don't like the sight of blood or death.  When they win they get rewards like cigarrets and such.  When they die, justice is served.

Now that would be great.

A show that isn't about war, isn't about people killing and shooting each other, isn't about people being so greedy they will do anything for money, that isn't about people who will go to any expence to make themselfs appear bigger and better than others, that isn't about fucking celebrities....

Well putt BFG.  This is exactly the reason you'll find me on the comp more then in front of the tv come down time.  You know what i find sick, is how they've started to use explicit titles for their shows to attract more viewers who are aimlessly surfing. e.g. "Girls Gone Wild" "Two Guys and One Girl" MTV, E, and VH1 are the worst for these titles, coming up with new one's every night it seems.

Things i will watch:  Simpsons, Seinfeld, cool discovery shows, and movies.  Oh and the news from time to time

i think the simsons has to take pride possition on the mantelpiece here. There are few shows out there that match the quality of this show in some aspects. the way the show can be attractive to both kids and adults alike - the subtle political humour, the links and references to American life. the sheer quality of the scripts. The Simpsons is a damn masterpiece.
