Halo Challenges

Just a little challenge for all of you who play Halo a weeeee bit too much...or way too much, either or.

Anyhow, my first chellange, is to beat all of Halo on Legendary, using whatever means necessary (minus hacking, if you know how)  Levels dont need to be completed in order, just as long as you can beat em!  Good luck to you on this one, Truth & Reconcilliation is a rough map.  (this has the hopeful side effect that people will get so pissed off at how hard this is, we'll all bitch & whine to Macsoft to make a Multiplayer co-op mode for Mac)

Second chellange, is beat The Maw (last level) on Legendary, but, see how fast you can do the last sequence (driving the warthog to the end)  my current record is 1 Minute 27 Seconds left on the countdown timer, when the cutscene triggered.

Third chellange, not as much a skill or speed hurdle on this one, but more patience and figuring out how it all works  Many of you have seen the Warthog Jump movie (if not, PM me and ill point you at a good download link)  just try to recreat the Warthog Jump movie, on The Silent Cartographer, again, using whatever means necessary.  (though grenades are probably your best bet, since i dont think you can bounce a Warthog that high otherwise =D  )

Fourth and somewhat connected to the third, is figure out how to get -ONTOP- of the island, in Silent Cartographer, any way you can.  So far, in single player, ive only found one way, but im not telling =)

Getting on top of the island is badass, its so cool up there, I think it should be a separate map, all you would need to do is add more trees, and some boulders.

Im seeing what you mean on Truth & Rec BFG, a few times ive -ALMOST- gotten to the end of that sequence...but not quite.  I think its really just a matter of luck & time, eventually itll happen.

shit man, first off, i wish my graphics in HALO were that good. I can see the friggin pixels, i live in a square world. Second off, notice how hes doing that in an xbox, is it even possible on another platform?

Moo! This has to be one of the most rewarding things to see when that baby flies through the air!! I didn't quite get it right over but next time... just smacked right into the top of the arch... oh god its so much fun though! and the bodies... oh to see the bodies fly!!!

If you can do it on an Xbox, you have 1) had availible the possibility of co-op, which i wont try to say you did or did not use, just its presence would have driven me to use it on Turth & Rec, and 2) you used a printed microsoft product for an extended period of time, which, forces me to henceforth ex-communicate you from this thread =)

(Granted i know Halo in of itself is a microsoft product, but it was produced by Bungie, which used to be all-mac, and was then ported by MacSoft, which, in my superstitious world, has cleansed the versions we use on our Macs of the Microsoft taint)

4 nades... and the one popped in underneath makes five.... just didn't quite get the "oomph" to make it over though... pity i don't have a few hours to spare to try it over... but i will!

For those of you (BFG   ) who have given up trying to figure out how to re-create the Warthog Jump, PM me and ill tell you (so as not to spoil it for those who still are trying to find the way)

In my own scheme of things, i am getting closer and closer to beating Truth & Rec on Legendary...managed to get a beach-head on the Covenant ship, now trying to clear out the hanger (where Cortana unlocks a door for you, while you get massacred from above)

Again, if advice is needed i can give it, just PM me

Speaking of which...there were about 15 nades under the Warthog when i did it myself...if that helps anyone...

Just a little update:  I successfully beat Truth & Rec on Legendary today, just took me a better part of the day, but the point is i did it. =D  Who else has done it??
