I wan't to start using some sort of netphones for Clan Battles and I wan't to know what you recomend that is free or as close to free as possible. Any thing would be apreciated thx.  |

www.haxial.com and download Netfone, but in order to use it with gameranger you need to have premium service unless you can find someone to show you a work around.

yep, use netfone on one and play games online useing gameranger on the best mac machine u have.
also: im not sure if this still works but you can join/host a ghr game without your cd in your drive. When it asks you to insert the ghr cd go ahead and launch netfone first and connect to whoever you need to connect to. Now you can insert your cd and click OK.

heh thats a neat one voodoo... but i use a virtual disk.  Anyway like voodoo said, use your best machine to play online, and as long as its networked run NF on your second best machine... it will work wonders. Plus you have hte added bonus of seeing who is on and off your NF list.. ps. Premium of course is the other "GR Friendly" option |

forget primium I am only 13 I don't have that kind of dough o and maybe if you own a no disk image just keep the img so that you can just mount it when it asks for the disk. Thx guys  |

Aah, well I might as well add something useful and bring up KDX. That is also made by Haxial and seems to do the job in avoiding the NF issue. Although no one really uses it and it is not as good as Netfone it is still an option. As for another idea there is always Ichat AV which is ok, but a little laggy comapred to Netfone again.

There is also a way to connect to multiple people in Ichat AV in case some of you didnt know. If there is a need I will open a seperate thread on how to connect to others with Audio.

I think if you wan't to use an invoice command in gamranger you need a priemium account. I am not the expert. I don't think it matters about the internal mich or the operating system.

correct scrach. dosn't matter what kinda mic u have. To use the 'ingame voice chat' feature of GR you need to have premium... no two ways about it.

Couple things guys.....KDX has come out with a new version of KDX called disguise KDX, you simply download it and add it to your KDX folder and gameranger cant detect KDX being open. This is the best work around for all you non-premium members because its free and it works and its simple. You can get it at www.haxial.com. |

Yah I heard about that but just yesterday I was on GR when the whole server rebooted and gamranger downloaded and update to it's software. Does anyone know wether this new update counters the diguise KDX?  |
