Hopefully they didn't  Huh Which other games from Aspyr were ported badly? I heard Spearhead was, but I havent played it yet, so I don't know.

The port was done by i5works. They sound ot have done a good job from the people that represent them on IMG. They added threads so dual procesors could work together insted of just on one processor. I wonder just how well a G5 will run this, guess I'll just have to wait and see...if there are G5 bugs i'll kill someone.

Nomad, if you played it on the PC, you'd realize that they did fuck some stuff up in that port.  Most if it has to do with hosting games from the Mac.

Example, even on a LAN, when hosted from a Mac the games tend to lag compared to hosting from a PC.  But hosted from a PC, the mac doesn't lag at all.  

It's not shit, but it is a problem.

Aspyr does do well with anything that was based on Q3, very few problems on RTCW, EF or EF2 that I ever saw, even compared to the PC side.

Since RvS isn't based off a redstorm engine, but UT, we can at least hope it was a good port.

Still haven't gotten my copy in the mail yet damnit.
