Hey guys! So halo for mac is coming out on december 3rd! UMS is a halo clan. I have preordered halo and sent and  email to scott asking about gr support for halo!

I doubt it will come out tomorrow.
The release will probably be pushed back a week or two in true lazy mac developer fashion.

I've seen it at December 11th for a few months now, where'd you hear the 3rd?

I doubt I'll get Halo, I didn't think much of it on the X-Box.  From what I've seen of Halo2 though, that looks like it will be great.

I've got the recommended requirements straight across, ( I have twice the RAM, though ).

I'll pick up Halo and give it a shot. I like it on PC, however, it can't compete with COD.

Probably because you know that I'd kick your ass on a round of Halo on the Xbox Bucc.  Grin  But you're right about Halo 2, it's going to be an awesome game, and XBOX LIVE.

I didn't like Halo that much because of the fact that the later levels repeat themselves way to much, and i just get bored with running into the 9th room that is exactly the same as the previous ones for hours on end. However the game was meant to be a Multiplayer game rather than have a story, its Microsoft's fault for trying to stretch the story out till it was boring. Should be fun online, and with a keyboard and mouse, the way it was meant to be played.

yea Bucc, I agree, I wasn't to impressed with Halo on Xbox, mainly b/c of the invert controls etc.  My bro, Kirok, and his buddies, loved the game so much on Xbox, they would dedicate weekends to play and no doubt they finished the game.
Although, on computer I can see myself perhaps liking Halo. dunno....

My distaste for it could be based upon the fact that I don't think First Person Shooters can be played well on consoles like the x-box (or flight simes either).  The controllers just don't seem right for that kind of game, or they make the game too easy because of it.

So I could change my mind, if it takes off in the multiplayer realm on the Mac I'll probably give it a second chance, but just basing it's gameplay on the x-box, I thought it blew.

I agree with bucc. Because the game has Auto-aim... which makes it to easy and if they dont the controlers are hard to use

Then the same people take in a army jeep and try not to get ambushed and they do. but the marines kill them all and go home.

go to apple store and if you create a g4 or g5 customize it or what ever when u get to the page before the end where u add software, look in game section and ull find halo, pretty neat eh?
