Evil Influx of Newbies

What is up with all the newbies like Pyrex and Bigpat or whatever they're names be.  They reply to everything with pointless drivil.  This forum has never been high-class but this has got to be a new low.  I don't want to see bitching about how you can't use your special characters in your names (you can anyways, go to your profile and change it guys, you just can't have odd stuff when you sign up).  I can't put all the blame on the newbies though, even people who are more established are still watering it down.  At the moment we have about five threads that have a lot of common arguing going on (TacOps for example in a few of them).  Lets try to focus on some sort of threads with actual points or things to be said (like the classic gaming).

Until that time, the delete post button looks much more attractive.

Normally, I favor turning up the heat and letting the flame teach them not to play with fire. ?However, of late, I'm just not motivated. ?Maybe it's the lack of material to work with, maybe I'm just working too hard.

So, flame or delete away... the one thing I'll agree with is that many of the newbies need to learn not to come in with a chip on their shoulder. ?It's been said in dozens of posts.... Read back before you start calling out anyone here that's been around for a while. ?Because when it comes to a newbie with an attitude, I'll even back those here I don't like much (with an exception or two). ?After all, it's one thing to stand back and let Ace, Ass(assin), Zak or Ultimo argue... it's completely another to listen to someone nobody knows talk shit about guyst that have paid their dues...

Yes, I am a newbie to this forum. ?I understand that, and I am being apprehensive as I go along here. ?I am not a newbie to the GR community though, so please give me some credit there. ?But pointless drivil? ?I mean, this is a internet forum for christs sake, how high class do you expect it to be? ?I have tried to be as respectful as I possibly can be, so I dont really know what else you expect of me. ?Everyone is a newbie at one point or another, so please just try and be a bit more tolerant. ?You lashing out at me and Pyrex has done nothing but ?create more tension in the forum.

If you want us to talk about classic gaming, why dont you create a section just for it? ?I dont have much to say on that subject, and that really defeats the point of this being a R6/RS forum.

I have NEVER talked shit to the veterans on the forum, or on GameRanger. ?So please dont say that I have. ?I really dont appreciate you saying that when I have not done anything of the sort. ? This is the first time on the forum I have stood up to a vets like yourselves, and its ONLY in self defense.

Bondo: The reason I replied twice was becuse I was still writing my post as Grifter posted his.  So didnt see Grifter's post until I put my first one up.  And no, I didnt think to edit my first post instead of putting up a second.  Given the same circumstances again, I would probably edit the first post.  But does it REALLY matter?  Talk about pointless drivil.

the only thing bigpat has really been guilty of is double posting (a classic forum newbie stunt) and Pyrex has been guilty of well, talking like he is "Mr Know-It-All" without reading back on other forum posts (another classic newbie stunt)

While many might find this dynamic dup anooying, they are no worse than Romulus when he wasnt a newbie (was he ever considered not a newbie  )

Lol Ace, remember how pissed Rom was when he kept getting 501 but then going down to 499?  That was the most fun I've had as a moderator.  I stopped only because Rom just posted more to complain and so it was a lost cause but he certianly had enough shit posts to bring him down a hundred or so.  I don't think you'd find more than 15 or so that could really be considered deleteable.

I do not want to sound like an ass but zak was a good RS player with a loud mouth. He was basically a good kid. I didn't know he got banned permanently from GR? Anyways I have had enough of Evill's "holier than thou" attitude! Evill cannot argue with anyone and when the shit hits the fan he simply bans you! Wtf is up with that? He banned me for 30 mins once because I asked him if MSN had OSX drivers for my intellimouse explorer...he called me a dumbass and I asked why, he said yes it does have a driver...I said I don't think so cause I couldn't find one...instead of helping me out, he banned me... A few things, the reason in the long run that zak got permabanned, is that he was permahigh.  I don't believe I ever talked to him on GR when he didn't seem stoned.

First to Bigpat, I'm pretty sure I didn't mention you...  just talking to Bondo about an influx of newbies that do talk shit (and dweebs that act like newbies... aka spaz).  I have no beef with you (other then double posts, but that's been covered by other moderators).  My post speaks for itself (about how I personally prefer to take care of posts that offend my personal sense of judgement, and how many newbies have been showing up with attitudes).

Second to Pyrex, you've appologized, good enough for now, as long as you've learned it works for me.

Last to spazzy, dear little spazzy...... this is the third time I've heard you give shit to SWAT.  Don't confuse us with the butt pirates you dream about.  I understand that you have few friends, and it makes perfect sense with what I've seen of you, but lets not have you drop down to the level of Rom with the petty little name calling, eh?  Or do you and me need to go around on this again...
